What is the SC and The ENTERTAINER (MY) app?

The SC and The ENTERTAINER (MY) app is exclusive for Standard Chartered Visa Platinum issued in Malaysia cardholders which offers Buy One Get One complimentary offers at 200 participating restaurants in Malaysia.

How does the SC and The ENTERTAINER (MY) app work?

Request for URLs link from Standard Chartered Bank Malaysia Berhad by sending SMS to 66399 with the following format: ENT 16-digits credit card numbers. Download SC and The ENTERTAINER (MY) app from URLs link sent by Standard Chartered Bank Malaysia Berhad. Follow the instructions to register for an account. To redeem, simply tap on the offer on your phone and follow the process to redeem it when you ask for the bill at the outlet. Payment must be made with a Standard Chartered Visa Platinum credit card issued in Malaysia.

How do I see the different merchants available within the products?

You can view merchants filtered by category and location, as well as search for specific merchants, offers and hotels. Enter your search terms in the fields and see which all merchants and offers are available to you.

How many offers are available in SC and The ENTERTAINER (MY) app?

SC and The ENTERTAINER (MY) app has 600 of Buy One Get One complimentary offers across Malaysia.

How long are the SC and The ENTERTAINER (MY) offers valid for?

SC and The ENTERTAINER (MY) offers are valid for 12 months from the date of key activation (when you click on the URLs link) , excluding public holidays and other specific days – all of which are mentioned in our Rules of Use within the SC and The ENTERTAINER (MY) App

What is key activation?

Key activation refers to URLs link sent by the Bank. Date of key activation is the date when you click on the URLs link and sign up/sign in to SC and The ENTERTAINER (MY) App.

What are the restrictions on the offers?

Our offers have very few restrictions on the times or days when they can be used. They are valid throughout the year, excluding some key public holidays and exclusions. Please see the Rules of Use for more information on which public holidays are listed for your location.

What happens if merchants close during the validity period?

Please read the Rules of Use for additional information on the acceptance and validity of offers in our products.

How many offers are there for each participating merchant?

There are 3 offers for each participating merchant through out the year. Offer can be 3 of the same offers or distinct offers. For example, for merchant A customer can get 3 Buy 1 Get 1 main course throughout the year while merchant B customer can get 2 Buy 1 Get 1 main course and 1 Buy 1 Get 1 any alcoholic beverages.

How many offers may I use at one time?

How many offers may I use at one time?A maximum of 4 offers can be used at one time, regardless of which product the offers appear in. You can use 1 offer per 2 people and a maximum of 4 offers for 8 guests. For example, a group of four at a restaurant can redeem 2 main course offer or 1 main course offer and 1 drink (Cheers) offer, per bill.

The App can be downloaded from the Apple App Store, and Google Play. As this app is exclusive for Standard Chartered Visa Platinum cardholders Malaysia, please contact Standard Chartered Bank Malaysia Berhad for URL link to download this App.

Do I have to pay for the SC and The ENTERTAINER (MY) App?

The SC and The ENTERTAINER (MY) App is free to download and can be easily found on your smartphone’s app store. However, you can only enjoy the offers if you have activated the account through URL links sent by Standard Chartered Bank Malaysia Berhad .

Which languages can I use my SC and The ENTERTAINER (MY) App in?

The SC and The ENTERTAINER (MY) app is available in English for all regions and countries.

How do I change the language settings in my App?

You can change your phone settings to the language you prefer. For example, if you want your App in Arabic, go to your phone’s settings and change the system language to Arabic. The SC and The ENTERTAINER (MY) will automatically reflect this language change the next time you use it.

How do I log in via another device?

To log in on another device you simply download the SC and The ENTERTAINER (MY) App from your App store. Once installed you can log into your account on up to 10 devices. Ensure that you use the same credentials (registered email and password).

How do I log someone out of my account?

We advise our customers that they should share their account with trusted family members, however should you need to log someone out of your account you can log into our website and select “Change Password” form your dashboard https://www.theentertainerme.com/login

I forgot my password. How can I sign in to the SC and The ENTERTAINER (MY) App?

If you forget the password for your SC and The ENTERTAINER (MY) account then simply click/tap on the ‘Forgot Password’ link on the website or App. You will receive an e-mail from us with detailed instructions on resetting your password.

Do I need an internet connection to redeem SC and The ENTERTAINER (MY) mobile offers?

To redeem offers from the App you will need either a Wi-Fi or 3G connection. This is so your account can be updated and your redemptions removed from the available offers in real time.

How do I redeem an ENTERTAINER offer from the SC and The ENTERTAINER (MY) App?

When you request your bill, you must notify the person attending to you that you want to redeem an SC and The ENTERTAINER (MY) offer using your smartphone. Then, while the teller is watching, you just tap to redeem the offer (be sure that the outlet is correct because some merchants have offers that can be redeemed at more than one outlet). Simply ask the teller to enter their merchant PIN on your smartphone, and when they have done this you will get a confirmation notice on your screen. The teller will most likely want to make a note of the reference number that appears on your screen so you should allow them to do this. If you accidentally moved past this then you can still see the redemption confirmation reference by going to ‘Savings’ and then ‘Redemption History’. The teller will then prepare your bill with the discount applied if you make payment with a Standard Chartered Visa Platinum credit card issued in Malaysia. The merchant will receive a receipt of the redemption by email and this will contain the same reference number for security purposes.

If I go to a participating outlet and I hit redeem on an offer on my SC and The ENTERTAINER (MY) App account and find that they do not accept the offer for some reason, can I cancel the redemption?

Yes, you can cancel the redemption at any point until the teller successfully enters their merchant PIN. However please note that a completed redemption cannot be reversed. We are unable to reinstate mobile offers within the SC and The ENTERTAINER (MY) App.

How to I retrieve the redemption code for a redeemed offer?

If you need to retrieve the redemption code to give to the merchant from your app please follow the below steps”
• Select a category such as Food & Drink
• Select the profile symbol at the bottom of the screen (last icon from the right)
• Select Account
• Select “redemption history” from the menu list
• Click on the offer you wish to take the number from

Can I see how much I have saved?

Yes, when you successfully redeem an offer you will see an estimate of how much you have just saved. If you go to the ‘Savings’ tab within the App menu you will see the total amount of estimated savings you have made since using your SC and The ENTERTAINER (MY) mobile app

How can I change the currency that is used within the App?

To change the currency shown
• Select a category such as food & Drink
• Select the profile symbol at the bottom of the screen (2nd icon from the right)
• Select account
• Select my information

How do I find out how many offers I have left for a particular outlet on my App account?

Go to the merchant details screen and you will see all the offers available for that merchant. You will see how many are available, how many are locked and how many have already been redeemed.

I have redeemed an offer at one location but the offer is showing as redeemed at all locations on my app.

For each merchant you get 3 offers in total. When you redeem an offer it will show as redeemed at all locations for that merchant. Once you have redeemed all 3 offers for a merchant, all locations will be locked.

Do I have access to the Rules of Use via my App?

Yes, validity and Rules of Use are contained within the Offer Screen as well as within the Account section.

How do I redeem more than one offer at the same time on the App – e.g. when I am with a group of friends and I have offers available to use?

You can currently only redeem one offer at a time within the App. So if you want to redeem 4 offers at the same time then you need to go through the process 4 times with the teller and he/she will then produce your bill with the total discount applied.
