Tried the Aliyaa Experience. Crab samosa served as the starter turned out to be the better dish. Attukal rasam. Curry is nice and spicy enough, but lacks flavour. The bits of chevon in the curry was tough. Some were tough to chew. For the main meal, the fish sothi was good too. Not good good but what you'd expect of a fish curry. In other words, normal or slightly better than average. Prawn varuval was ok. It could be better if it wasn't fried before adding into the varuval because it was dry and not juicy. Deviled Chicken was a disappointment. The chicken was hard and the curry was sweet like how mamaks tend to add yesterday's unsold fried chicken into today's sambal. It's just bad. Hard and dry. Mutton curry. Firstly, it's not mutton. It's chevon. And boy is the chevon tough. Every single piece of it was tough. The curry was so so. Below what you'd expect from a banana leaf shop. Cashewnut paal curry. It's just cashew in curry. Brinjal moju. Didn't like it. Nei soru, nethili sambol, vallarai carrot sambol - I'm not used to them here but I get the same in Maldives and they're so much better in Maldives. The rice I would say was brilliant. Fluffy and slightly fragrant. However, I somehow bit into a small stone in the rice and that kinda ruined my experience as the next bite onwards, I was trying to chew very carefully. Dessert was sweet appam. Nice but overly sweet. Don't finish it unless you want to get diabetes. Had mango lassi for drink. Mango used was overly riped and felt kinda not fresh. Overrated? Most definitely. You'll enjoy your food better from most banana leaf shop. Would I come again? Maybe. Just to try the crab curry. But I'll avoid the same food I had today because I wouldn't want to eat something that's consistently bad.

Aliyaa has been on my list for the longest time, but circumstances always prevented me from visiting. Finally, I made it there, and while the food we ordered had were hit and miss , it was a mixed experience overall. We really wanted to try their famous claypot Lankan crab, but since it was lunchtime, we didn't want to get messy and dirty our hands. Perhaps next time we'll give it a shot. What we had : Fish cutlet Rm24 🌟 * This was my absolute favorite. It was incredibly tasty and packed with flavor. Each bite left me craving for more. Lankan crab cakes Rm24 🌟 The crab cakes were absolutely delicious . The sesame seed crust added a delightful crunch to each bite. Kuliyal lamb Rm40 * This was my first time trying kuliyal lamb, and while it wasn't as great as I had hoped, it was still an enjoyable dish. Chicken varuval Rm32 🤷🏻‍♀️ * The chicken varuval was tender and flavorful . However, considering the price, I've had better experiences elsewhere. Eggplant paal curry Rm20 🤷🏻‍♀️ * I personally didn't enjoy this dish at all. I was expecting it to be spicy and saucy unfortunately i didnt know what paal curry was. It tasted more like a dessert to me, which wasn't what I was looking for. Total : Rm162

Welcoming: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Atmosphere: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Customer service: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Food: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ + 0.5 Beverage: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Value for Money: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Ease of parking: ⭐️ Revisit: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ My first ever try of Sri Lanka food. This is really out of expectation, but at the good site. I don’t expect such a good quality of the food prior coming here, but i really like it. It is kind of spicy for every foods, but the spicy level is something normal people can take in. The only thing i don’t like is the chicken, taste normal, and the chicken breast is really kind of hard. But again, will absolutely revisit, and recommend everyone to try. Their servant is really welcoming, and i like their quality, they know what they are serving, and they explained each food for you well.

Food: Great. I recommend the crab curry. Fish, okra, rice and bread are also nice. Can't really taste the dhal. Overall presentation is nice. Drinks are ok. Desserts are interesting especially the flaming Apam. Price: Fine dining price Ambience: There're two floors. It's a nice ambience with creative elephant paintings. Parking: Roadside
