Two appitisers were excellent but I had beef ribeye and it was just ok. More drinks options please. Not enough lighting. I think they can do better as I think they have the potential. Rocks shrimps are a must.Read more
Last Friday we tried the French style brunch Feathers & Pearls @ateliermdubai a French fine restaurant under Chef Mohammad Islam's vision @pier7dubai , the brunch took us to the bygone golden era of the 1920’s Hollywood. A timeless enchantment located on the 7th floor, Atelier M is the major rendezvous where you can continue your delightful dining experience with world-class cocktails in the Art Deco-inspired lounge and rooftop terrace with outstanding view over the Dubai Marina and JBR. As we opted for the unlimited starters we were served, Oysters fine de Claire, Bloody Mary gazpacho, Burrata, Wild Mushroom Takoyaki, Crab Croquettes, Spanish Omellete & Tropical Pastry Roll. All starters well presented and taste so delicious specially for seafood lovers. For the main course we tried Chicken Kiev, very juicy and Wagyu BBQ Short Ribs were so soft melt in the mouth served with green beans and creamy mash potatoes as side dishes. The desserts were displayed on a special table inside and we helped ourselves. The dessert is well selected with various flavors including (Chocolate Cake, Blueberry Mousse, Cookies, Strawberries dipped with Chocolate and Fruit Salad. Beautiful views of the Dubai skyline, great drinks, and the food was great too! We happen to go during happy hour so the drinks just flowed all night. The music and staff was on point and could find no complaints and look forward to going again in the future!Read more
Place to be. High design interior, great food and drinks, great parties. Very nice staff... special thanks to Laura and Vanessa! You have to visit the rooftop bar, panoramic view on the harbor!Read more
I can't compare it to the other restaurants within Pier 7 as we only visited once, but we enjoyed our evening here. The restaurant is situated overlooking the marina and really is worth it for the view which is fantastic. The food was okay, I had the breaded shrimp to start with which were tasty but reminiscent of American diner style food which didn't seem in keeping with the style of restaurant or the rest of the menu. Having said that I enjoyed them, though there were an awful lot of them (I suppose I should be pleased based on value for money!) I then had a pasta dish which again wasn't bad but was very heavy, thick pasta and I didn't think particularly well put together. My boyfriend had the set menu which seemed (although cheaper overall) to include dishes which were a bit more sophisticated and clever. His dessert in particular was really spectacular and reminiscent of a Heston Blumenthal creation, I only wish the rest of the food was the same and not so much of a mismatch. Overall I enjoyed my experience, the service was very good and although pricey, it wasn't quite as expensive as other Dubai restaurants. I do however think they need to work on consistency both in their menu and the style and quality of the food.Read more
