I decided to take my grandson during the holidays. I was shocked to see that it costs R190. for a child, Adults R70. but for me a pensioner only R45(that was good). You are not allowed to bring in your own food because they have Cafes etc. They actually check any baskets to see if you are bringing in any food. I bought food at lunch time and it was quite good and reasonably priced. We even had dessert and chocolates. Only children are allowed to do rides. Because it was his first time he was a bit sceptcal. He trid the Maypole but he said the swings were to fast, the train would be too fast and the paddle boats could be too deep! .I had to coax him to try something otherwise I would have wasted my money. Eventually he went on the horse and thoroughly enjoyed it, even went a second time. After that he loosened up and did the Zipline and the water fountains. When he discovered that the waterslide was good and he made some friends he had a blast. Had to drag him away at closing time and then he tried the paddle boats on our way out. I had to promise that we would come again and bring a friend. It could be costly, so maybe they can give a discount on multiple children ?.More
afternoon out with family and friends was busy but that was expected during school holidays guess after a few visits it becomes so so as the rides and things to do are quite limited negatives too long a que for the pony rides and at one point only one pony catering for 25+ people waiting in line rides very basic, shame that ratanga junction closed down as it was a big step up from bugz food relatively pricey and is the only option as one cannot bring in own picnics positive nice place to hold birthday party not much else positive ok way to spend afternoon but probably not worth the VIP entrance of R180 per child as attractions not totalling feeMore
The park is amazing for our little ones, super clean and safe. Our littles ones loved every moment and whilst the staff are not there to take care of your kids, you have plenty place to sit and watch your kids interact with the surroundings The food was exceptionally well done, each meal looked restaurant quality We will definitely be back soon and will bring more family with More
Really enjoyed the place. The staff were excellent, seemed to really enjoy working with children. You can't bring your own food in but there are benches outside where you can eat. Security also excellent.More
We recently visited Bugz and the kids 4 and 5 had a really good time. It is a bit overpriced if you want to do everything. The park definitely needs some attention around the water areas and the staff at the entrance that looked through the bags made us feel like criminals. The kids had a great time though.More
