We enjoyed the most delicious tender steaks. Nigel gave us excellent service. Covid friendly. We will be back.More
Really good steakhouse, the best steak in Johannesburg In my opinion. Enjoyable atmosphere and good service add up to an enjoyable evening for all.More
My experience here was average. The best part of it was the amazing service from the waiter. Unfortunately the venue itself could do with some cleaning, updating and repairs. The food was okay but with duck being a firm favourite of mine, it was not entirely enjoyable as it did not taste fresh and there wasn't much actual duck meat to eat (more bone than meat). The mash was a bit lumpy too. My partner had the beef trinchado which was okay except for the sauce that tasted like it had some familiar soup powder in it. I'm sure that it would have been a fantastic restaurant in it's day because it is easy to see that potential and with some TLC, I have no doubt it could be again.More

First trip to Gauteng since the hard lockdown and went on to the Entertainer to look at possible places to eat out. Positive reviews about Chaplains Grill in Sandton was what convinced me to give it a try and it was well worth the visit. Excellent service from our waiter Kenneth coupled juicy, tender and tasty steak got me thinking that this was well worth the visit More
