everithing you can dream of while in Maldives. aamazing challetes, restaurant and beach. with world class diving just meters away. Staff is very professional, I dont think there is anything negative to say when it comes to service overall... Heaven in the middle of MaldivesMore
I would like to be part of my experience, first of all when we arrive. The porters take my luggage and drop it in the room and assist with Assistance to get a tip, it's very great.   Then, once on the beach, the hotel manager monitors all our actions and we make comments in the evening at dinner, we feel like spies.   Regarding the food nothing to say it is good but the breakfast could be improved, because not much choice. The beaches should be cleaned, there are plastic residues everywhere on the beach.   The bedspread should be cleaned really very very very sale!   Big problem in the heart of the island is there, the recycling center and every day tons of plastic are burned, black smoked and unpleasant odor, it is not at all ecological.   Conclusion Very average hotel for a luxury hotel not up to par.More
Makunudu is quite simply an island paradise! We have just returned from an amazing 10 days in a place of sanctuary sheltered from the unprecedented events caused by the outbreak of Covid 19. Ally, the General Manager , and every individual member of his team should be commended for ensuring that the standard of guest service was first class despite the difficult and uncertain time faced by everyone. Nothing was too much trouble, managers Ally and Soonil made a point of speaking on a daily basis to every guest providing a very personalised service. Every single member of staff was friendly and welcoming; from the restaurant, boat crew, reception , water sports, grounds and housekeeping staff. Our room was spotless, cleaned every morning and turned down every evening. All meals were of an exceptional standard, beautifully presented, delicious and served each day by our amazing waiter Naushaadh, who couldn't do enough for us. The friendly bar staff kept our drinks topped up and laughed with us as we unwound at the end of each 'arduous' day of sunbathing and snorkelling. A cocktail each evening at the Sundown Bar is highly recommended as the beautiful sunsets end each perfect day. We relaxed each day in the tranquillity of the island and also new friendships were formed - thank you Spike and Lisa for your company and laughter too! Thank you to everyone on Makunudu for creating such a special and memorable experience; we hope to see you all again soon on your magical island.More
We arrived march 9th by speedboat to this beautiful island. We were greeted by the reception staff with huge smiles. The room was lovely and a big thank you to our room boy who kept it spotless. A big thank you to our waiter NAUSHAADH who went over and above making us feel welcome. The food was fantastic best we have had in the Maldives. The omelettes at breakfast were to die for. The manager Ally must be so proud of the staff he has built up and the same goes for Soonil. Both were always present to ensure our stay was unforgettable. A big thank you to all the bar staff who made sure our glasses were always full. We will definitely return to this piece of paradise as soon as all this madness is over and hopefully see all your smiling faces again. Special thanks to Jon and Diane for your company which we thoroughly enjoyed. Stay safe everyone Spike and Lisa Holdway xMore
2 weeks on a wee island in the middle of the Indian Ocean, perfect, food amazing and plentyful, beach villas are ideal, the most comfiest bed ever on holiday. staff were all friendly and polite. The dive school, well what to say about Ricardo and his team, i finished my open water course with him and all i can say is Fab-u-lous , patient, knowledgable, enthusiastic, and fun. All the equinet needed and his boat crew were brilliant. Saw turtles ,sharks, octopus and thousands of fish. Definatly will return to further my diving and enjoy the warm waters.More
