About Oman Aquarium

Oman Aquarium is Oman’s first recreational, educational, tourism and heritage project. The aquarium houses more than 30,000 aquatic animals living in over 55 exhibits. The aquarium is built over 2 floors and follows the journey of a famous Omani Seafarer ”Ahmed Bin Majid” who lived approximately 500 years ago and travelled from Oman to India, South Africa and as far away as Indonesia.
