I spent the morning and afternoon of my birthday at Saadiyat. The beach was great, so were the pools. Everything was clean. The food buffet was very impressive and Bunyod's service was excellent. Every time I’m in UAE I visit this place, everything is perfect about it: location, interior, music, service. So my family and I have been members of the club for the last 3 years. The first couple of years were nice. We brought many visitors to the club and would spend monthly more than the cost of a monthly membership. The last year the service for members has declined, in my opinion. I used the gym at least 5 times a week. The upkeep and cleaning of equipment has gone down. It also seems the club is more interested in catering to their events and daily visitors. Our last month of membership was this month. I explained that we might not be renewing our membership. They were not interested in asking what they could so to keep our service. I thought this was not great marketing. I asked the front desk when my membership is up. They said 3 March. I asked a second time and in system it said 3 March. I planned on using gym and pool until that date. I was going to gym on the 23rd and was told my membership was up on 3 Feb. I said what I was told was in the system and they said the system was wrong. So I was made to feel like I was trying to cheat their system. I left and after the way I was treated, I would never recommend membership to anyone. At least not until treating members is a priority over daily visitors. More
