I came by for a weekday dinner to try the steak - they only take your order as medium or well-done, but it was tasty nonetheless. Steaks don’t come with fries, so you’d have to order sides if you’re used to having some carbs. Service was okay, but the ambience was pretty fun - sort of the factory chic aesthetic. More
I really enjoyed their lunch menu but their dinner menu was disappointing. Had the pulled pork arrabbiata where the sauce was flat and not spicy, pork had no flavour. Cherry tomatoes were bland as well. Truffle fries was a tiny portion with no truffle taste at $10.50. Not to mention service was bad, staff was really noisy in the kitchen as well. I would probably return for lunch but definitely not for dinner. More
We had the full fry up and ciabatta w bacon n egg for breakfast. Both dishes were terrible. Bacon strips were soaked in oil though well grilled. Potatoes tasted off, chorizo meat were poor quality. The only good thing was their coffee. All that hype was oversold! So so disappointed.More
My husband and I have had brunch here before, and just stopped in last weekend to try some of the newer dishes on the menu. I had both the eggs ben-jamin and the CB&J, and they were awesome! Officially my new favourite eggs benedict in the city, I loved the combination of crispy bacon strips, the divinely sweet and salty bacon onion jam, and the flavour-filled bernaise sauce, in place of the usual hollandaise. The eggs were possibly a tiny bit over-poached, with soft but not super runny yolks, but that's how I prefer them personally! The CB&J with its thick, fluffy brioche and homemade cashew butter paired with the juicy, sweet roasted grapes was delicious, though I could have used a touch more honey to sweeten it up a bit more. A combination I always love (like a classic pb&j sandwich) and decadent brunch dessert for sure. Service was great too, even on a busy Sunday we were able to get a table outdoors right when we arrived, and all of the staff were so friendly, particularly the young man behind the counter who took my order. The food came out nice and quick, fresh and hot, and with The Entertainer it was exceptionally good value for money, both the portion and the quality of the food. Overall a great brunch for sure, and I can't wait for another visit...I've got my eye on the french toast next time!More
The Christmas special (55$ before gst and sc) was very worth the money. Love the chicken and the mashed potato. However, the kale was a bit strange and the fish has too much of an oily flavour. Nevertheless the portions was more than enough for three people. Service was fast and attentive. Tables are shaky; hopefully the legs can be fixed.More
