My wife and I stayed at the hotel for one week. Since we both had to work as well we got an upgrade to a junior suite - thank you - dear reception team - for that. The hotel is probably one of the first that was built on Jumairah Beach. It does not have modern facilities, but everything is very well maintained, very clean, and the COVID measures were well observed. Fortunately, already on the second day of our stay, breakfast was also offered in the Club Lounge on the top floor. Super service, very nice ambience and beautiful view of the beach and the water. The service is mainly done by trainees and two supervisors who came to Dubai from different parts of the world and are super motivated to do their job. Thanks for your great service: Sushil from Nepal, Logie and Demi (Philippines), Kajal from India, Lee from South Korea, Gabriel/Netherlands and Sibo from Sambia. (Sibo did you receive the book?) The food/beverage offer in the Club Lounge was very good at all times of the day, which is not the case in all Marriott lounges. A very varied and tasty offer. The staff also proactively offered mixed drinks and it was clear that they enjoy their job. We enjoyed our stay at the hotel very much and will be back again.More
We just completed 9 nights at the Sheraton Jumeirah Beach Resort. The hotel is one of the older ones so it is in a great location on the beach, with easy access to the Dubai Tram. It is also great value for money. We had an Ocean View room with stunning view to the Ferris wheel and action on the beach. We also included lounge access and discovered the breakfast on the 9th floor was lovely, the view delightful and the food served in the evening was really good. Alcohol is included in the lounge access package from 6.30 - 8.30pm. Special thank you to the fantastic staff in the lounge who made us so welcome - Sibo, Demi and Kajal are doing a great job to give their guest a wonderful stay. We will definitely use this hotel again.More
We spent 29 nights in Sheraton Jumeirah and thanks to the great hospitality of the Club Lounge team, especially DEMI and LOGIE, we really felt at home. Thank you very much again Demi and Logie for the nice cocktails and for the surprises that you organized for our birthdays. We loved the hotel, the location is unbelievable nice, the breakfast was more than perfect thanks to the breakfast team, also very nice people there, everything was wonderful. 6 months Dubai - 21 different 5-star Hotels - this is my preferred Having stayed 6 months in Dubai Hotels, I am a fan of the Sheraton Jumeirah. Why? The hotel is one of the oldest Beach Hotels in Dubai and with its 9 floors not very high. Very simple: It is the combination of location, passion and generosity. Location: JBR is a great beach. Long, beautiful, amazing views on the big Ferris Wheel and the only place in Dubai where you can stroll along a beach & along a beachwalk with restaurants, bars and shops. A great combination. The Sheraton is right there, it has a landscaped garden and great views on the beautiful ferris wheel. Passion: You really get a feeling that the staff cares about you and that they work as a team. There are Demi and Lojie in the Club Lounge. Great service, thoughtfulness and a laugh. There is Vinod & his team at the reception: Professionalism & care for your needs. And there are all the other service staff that seem to like what they do & it reflects on the guests. Generosity: Having spent 3 of my 6 Dubai hotel stay months at the Sheraton Jumeirah (and the rest trying out some 20 other 5-Star Hotels in Dubai), I really value the consistent level of care and good service. Of all the 21 hotels I tried, it has the best Club Lounge. The only one with a similar view is the Habtoor Grand. However, the healthy & savoury buffet is not matched in any of the hotels that I tried and (even though it is one of the lower priced 5-star hotels in Dubai) it has the nicest welcome gift for regular Bonvoy members. Yes, the Westin is more posh, but its lounge is rather dark with limited food options. Breakfast staff starts to close the room 20 minutes before breakfast ends. Fairmont the Palm? Try to get room service or good service (beautiful property, though). The St. Regis is great on service and room, but no beach location. Anantara The Palm? Great on photos, but most rooms without a view (get a high floor!). Yes, the W Hotel is cool. Very cool. but it lacks the lounge and is rather far away. Ritz Carlton? Beautiful, but no view and 3x the price. Habtoor Grand? Great room, beautiful view from the lounge, but cramped breakfast room and a little appealing pool/beach area. The Rixos is an Instagram Favourite with a great spa, but no room has a balcony. Balconies are abundant at the Hilton Jumeirah, but its furniture is more like IKEA and unfortunately, there is a construction site next to it. Sheraton Jumeirah is my favourite. Neither the most modern, nor very cool. But it feels really good to stay here.More
