We booked here for our first outing after everything opened from Corona. The service and organisation was horrendous! The slots you are allowed are only 2hrs and we waited 45 minutes for a drink! The service was so bad and they messed up the food and the orders. I was so disappointed. We complained on numerous occasions but nothing was done. More
I have been to trader vics in dubai in hilton jbr and compared to this one this one was very quiet. the restaurant was almost empty, there was no music. service was ok, nothing special, the caesar salad was nice, and the drinks were ok. we were there for happy hour and the waitress forgot to put that on the bill and luckily my friend remembered otherwise we would have paid more than we were supposed to.More
We came again and that is enough testimonial. South seas themed and with decent menu we enjoyed beef carpaccio, beef and reef, beer and wine. Service here, as in everywhere in Qatar, is of the highest standards with polite, well informed and attentive staff who ensured we received the best experience. Consistently throughout Qatar we found spotless, hygienic washrooms of the highest quality. Doha prices though. . . .More
Happy Hour advertised in the hotel at 4 until 10 pm on a Saturday, however when we got in there we were told it ended at 8 pm, and that this had changed. The Manager agreed we could have one extra drink at happy hour by way of an apology. Food was good, I had the Curry and my husband had Singapore Noodles. Bill came and Id been charged 60 QR (£14) for a glass of wine, although it had been advertised on the menu as 45 QR - when I questioned this was told that the wine Id been served had been Table Mountain which isn't on the menu but its all they could get from the supplier. Id said it wasn't acceptable to charge different to what is on the wine list and he agreed to make the price right. Incidentally happy hour has 30% off listed prices. The White Wine Spritzer had been charged another QR 26 for 7 Up in the wine - the Manager confirmed this shouldn't have happened so amended the bill again for the third time. To be fair to him he was apologetic but you clearly have to look at your bill carefully. Very quiet on Saturday night when we went but it isn't a weekend night for them and I get the impression that a lot of the visitors to this place aren't hotel residents but business people working out there.More
