Winelands Paragliding

Absolutely fantastic experience with Winelands Paragliding. Did the Hike and Fly option. It is worth every cent!!!!! A million times better than the short little flight down Signal Hill in CPT. Pilot's were absolutely professional, safe, procedural and patient in the way they conducted themselves and handled me and my fiancé. She was quite scared but wound up really enjoying the experience. Furthermore I must credit Winelands Paragliding for making my engagement an absolute success!!! The pilots ensured i was on the ground first, after a lovely long flight, so that I was in position - on one knee (next to my banner) - ready to ask for her hand in marriage. You guys were amazing. One of the best experiences and adventures i have been on! Mias and his team are awesome people and dont take any chances when it comes to flying safety. I will definitely be flying with Winelands paragliding again!

This was an unforgettable experience. The views are breathtaking. Mias and Estian do a great job of providing a safe tandem gliding experience while at the same time sharing their passion for the region and the land. I loved it 😍

Today I had an awesome day today doing Tandem Paragliding from Paarl Rock. Tandem Paragliding pilot I flew deserves ten out of ten guiding me through the technics of flying in the air allowing to take awesome photos of the Paarl Scenery from the air.

Highly recommend! What a great way to experience the full view of Cape Town as you glide through its scenic sky! Word of caution, this activity is highly dependent on the weather/wind conditions. Our initial booking got cancelled and we had to rebook a different date. Therefore make sure to have an open day during your travels in case the same thing occurs. All instructors have GoPros which they use to take videos and photos that you can then purchase.
