RULES OF USE – QUICK OVERVIEW

ENTERTAINER with Mastercard Expo Offers:

Can be used 7 days a week, at any time during the issuing merchant’s trading hours – minimal exclusion days apply.
Up to [x] Offers can be redeemed at one time for a group of [x] people or more
Should be presented prior to payment or requesting the bill and is only valid when payment is made with Mastercard
Are not valid in conjunction with any other discount offers, promotions, special menu items or loyalty/rewards programmes
Are only available for use during the 2021 Dubai Expo at relevant merchants

RULES OF USE – IN FULL

The use of all Mastercard Expo Offers (“ Offers ”) provided by the ENTERTAINER for Mastercard cardholders (“ Member(s) ”) are subject to these Rules of Use (“ Rules ”) and any terms of use included on the Offers. Users should read these Rules carefully prior to using any Offer.

1. Redeeming Your Offers

Redeeming an Offer is very simple:

Select your chosen Offer for use on the App or Website
Present your mobile device with the chosen Offer to the server prior to the bill being presented
The merchant is prompted to enter their PIN. COVID distancing measures also allow you to ask the merchant to provide you with the PIN to enter on your device yourself.
Once the merchant has entered their PIN, the Offer will be redeemed and the item or service will be removed from your bill

To redeem more Offers, simply repeat the same process
Up to a maximum of 4 Offers per visit/booking/table for a group of 8 people or more can be used:

In the case of a dispute, the bill must be settled as per local law.

2. Offer Validity

Offers are valid from date of sign up through to March 31 2022, unless otherwise specified. We reserve the right to remove and/or amend an Offer at any time and cannot be held responsible or liable in any way if an Offer is removed or amended from the App or Website
Offers are only redeemable with the issuing merchant and/or venue
Offers apply only to the items/services and location(s) specified on the Offer
Offers are exclusive and not valid in conjunction with any other discount offers, promotions, special offers or dining/loyalty/employee/rewards programmes
Offers are valid 7 days a week any time during the issuing merchant’s trading hours, unless specified on the Offer and minimal exclusion days apply
If a merchant or venue refuses to honour any Offer, please contact Customer Service
Unauthorised reproduction, resale or modification of any Offer is prohibited. Offers are void if resold or bartered
Offers are not redeemable for cash. Unauthorised reproduction, resale or modification of any Offer is prohibited. Offers are void if resold or bartered.

3. Food & Drink Offers

A Main Course/Main Menu Item is defined as the main element of a customer’s lunch or dinner – i.e. not a starter, side dish or dessert. We are not responsible for the specific layout/design of a merchant’s menu. If in doubt, clarify with the server before ordering.
One Offer can be used to redeem one qualified item only, unless otherwise specified
One Offer can be used by 2 people, up to a maximum of 4 Offers per table, for a group of 8 people or more (see Table 1). This Rule applies regardless of the product the Offer is from. E.g. a group of 4 people can redeem 2 Main Course Offers at a restaurant, alternatively they can redeem 1 Cheers Offer and 1 Main Course Offer - redeeming a maximum 2 Offers in total.
The least expensive item (as listed on the Offer) will be deducted. The two items must be from the same category as marked on the Offer, e.g. buy one “Main Course” and get one “Main Course” free; or buy one “Sushi Set Lunch” and get one “Sushi Set Lunch” free; or buy one “House Beverage” and get one “House Beverage” free.
Only one bill will be presented per table, per group. No splitting of bills will be allowed.
Offers are valid solely for the item listed and are not valid for special events (e.g. Iftar, Suhoor, buffets, set price brunch menu, theme nights, special menus or in conjunction with B.Y.O), unless otherwise indicated on the Offer
Offers are not redeemable for breakfast, starters, side dishes, desserts or shared platters, unless otherwise indicated on the Offer
Offers are not valid for delivery or take-away, unless otherwise indicated on the Offer
Discounts do not apply to service charges
No corkage is allowed, unless otherwise specified
Offers contained in Informal Dining & Take-away can be used by 1 person, unless otherwise specified
Offers contained in “Delivery” can be used by 1 person, unless otherwise specified

4. Attractions & Leisure Offers

Our Attractions & Leisure section on the App has 2 types of Offers: ”Buy One Get One Free” and “Discount Offers”
A maximum of 4 Offers can be redeemed per booking/visit for a group of 8 people or more (see Table 1)
“Discount Offers” can be used against the service/item/activity mentioned on the voucher. The discount will apply only on normal rates/prices and cannot be used in conjunction with other promotions or special offers. These Offers would need to be presented before the service/item/activity is purchased.
Terms & Conditions may vary with a number of activities, so please refer to the individual merchant/outlet for confirmation of minimum/maximum number of people, age restrictions, safety guidelines and other conditions
Prior booking may be required for certain offers and/or activities
Offers will not be valid on any public holiday

5. Everyday Services Offers

There are 2 types of Offers for Everyday Services: “Discount Offers” and “Spend This Get That” Offers

When redeeming the “Discount Offers” from the Everyday Services section, you will be given the discount on the item/service mentioned on the voucher
When redeeming one of the “Spend This Get That” Offers, you will have to spend the amount mentioned on the Offer in order to receive the mentioned discount off your bill

Offers in the Everyday Services section are valid solely on the service/item mentioned on the voucher and cannot be used in conjunction with any other offers, promotions or discounts
A maximum of 4 vouchers can be redeemed per visit/bill as long as the requirements mentioned on the voucher are met

6. Travel Offers

HOTELS WORLDWIDE – BUY ONE GET ONE FREE

Buy One Night, Get One free offers at over 500 selected hotels & resorts throughout Middle East, Africa, Europe & Asia. A limited number of hotels also provide 20% off Best Available Rates for additional nights of your hotel stay.

Hotel offers are based on Best Available Rates, Subject to Availability of rooms for this promotion and reservations must be made in advance prior to arrival. These hotel offers may not be PINGED to other users. Valid for one offer per room booked till 31st March 2022.

Please refer to the specific HOTELS WORLDWIDE - RULES OF USE for How It Works and How to Book these exclusive Member hotel offers and prior to making a booking and checking in at hotel.

7. Exclusion Days

Offers can be used 7 days a week, excluding the following days in the following markets and any other public holidays as announced by the applicable government (subject to merchant discretion):

Please note that a limited number of outlets may be closed over the summer, Ramadan and other selected religious holidays. We cannot be held responsible if an outlet is temporarily or permanently closed during the Offer validity period.

8. General

The barter, trade, sale, purchase or transfer for compensation of this product or any of its Offers or contents by any person or entity, including but not limited to travel services, travel providers, and distributors of the product or any of its Offers, is strictly prohibited, unless expressly authorised by Mastercard Expo and its affiliates, subsidiaries, subcontractors and suppliers including but not limited to the ENTERTAINER group of companies. The product and its Offers and other content are intended for the non- profit use of the individual purchaser of the Offers. Additionally, the use of the product or any of its Offers for advertising purposes is strictly prohibited. Any use of the Offers in violation of these Rules will render the Offers void, and Mastercard Expo and its affiliates, subsidiaries, subcontractors and suppliers including but not limited to the ENTERTAINER group of companies will avail itself of any and all legal remedies available to it. Offers may not be reproduced and are void where prohibited or restricted by law. Mastercard Expo and its affiliates, subsidiaries, subcontractors and suppliers including but not limited to the ENTERTAINER group of companies will not be responsible for the closing down or refusal of any merchant to accept the Offers; however, we will use reasonable efforts to rectify the situation, to the extent possible. Mastercard Expo and its affiliates, subsidiaries, subcontractors and suppliers including but not limited to the ENTERTAINER group of companies will not be responsible in the event that acts of God, fire casualties, illness, injury or other events beyond its control, prevent you from using any Offer.

9. Intellectual Property

Copyright in the text, images, photographs, graphics, layout and design of this App are protected by local and International copyright laws. Copyright in the text, index, rules of use, offers, layout and other copyrights works contained in this product, is owned by or used with permission by the Mastercard Expo and/or its affiliates, subsidiaries, subcontractors and suppliers including but not limited to the ENTERTAINER group of companies. No part of this product may be reproduced in any form (including by electronic or mechanical means, photocopying, recording, or information storage and retrieval) without the written permission of the publisher. The ENTERTAINER wordmark and logo are the trademarks and/or registered trademarks of The Entertainer FZ LLC. Other trademarks, artwork, copy and/or translations of copy appearing in this publication are used with permission of their respective licensed owners.

10. Privacy and Data

You acknowledge that when you download, install or use Mastercard Expo, we may use automatic means (including, for example, cookies and web beacons) to collect information about your device and about your use of the Mastercard Expo. You also may be required to provide certain information about yourself as a condition to downloading, installing or using Mastercard Expo or certain of its features or functionality. All information we collect through or in connection with this Mastercard Expo is subject to our Privacy Policy. By downloading, installing, using and providing information to or through this Application, you consent to all actions taken by us with respect to your information in compliance with the Privacy Policy.

Mastercard Expo TRAVEL – HOTELS WORLDWIDE

Use of all Mastercard Expo Travel – Hotels Worldwide Offers (“Hotel Offers”) on the Mastercard Expo products is governed by these Hotel Rules of Use (the “Rules”) and any terms of use included on the Hotel Offers. Each person should read these Rules carefully prior to using any Hotel Offer. In the event of any conflict between these Rules and any terms of use included on a Hotel Offer, the terms of use on the Hotel Offer shall govern.

1. HOTEL OFFER

Each participating hotel provides “One Complimentary Night” Hotel Offer
The Hotel Offer is valid for one complimentary night when one night of equal or greater value is purchased at “Best Available Rates” (See Section 4 “HOTEL TERMS” below)
The Hotel Offer excludes taxes, service charges and tourism fees
The Hotel Offer is based on a discount off the “Best Available Rate” or “Best Flexible Rate” defined as the fully flexible “non-restricted” rate of the day quoted directly by the hotel reservations or hotel website
The Hotel Offer is based on a one time use for a minimum two nights consecutive stay
The Hotel Offer applies to the room only rate, excluding breakfast (unless otherwise specified on the Hotel Offer)
The Hotel offer is valid for all room categories however it may not apply to “Club or Executive” rooms, at the hotel’s discretion
A limit of one Hotel Offer per room booked may be used. A maximum of one night will be complimentary per room booked per stay. The lowest nightly rate quoted will qualify as the complimentary night
For selected hotels and only if specified on the Hotel Offer, a 20% off the Best Available Rates will apply for additional nights after using the “One Complimentary Night” Hotel Offer. However, the 20% discount Hotel Offer will not apply to the nights booked using the “One Complimentary Night” Hotel Offer

2. HOTEL OFFER BOOKINGS

The Hotel Offer is “Subject to Availability” (see Section 4 “HOTEL TERMS” below) of rooms allocated to the Mastercard Expo promotion at the time of booking
The Hotel Offer is only valid for bookings made directly by calling or emailing the hotel’s reservations desk. Mastercard Expo members are required to request availability of the Hotel Offer at the time of booking
The Hotel Offer is not valid for online bookings via the hotel website or any third party website
Advanced reservations must be made directly with the hotel prior to arrival. The Hotel Offer is not valid for walk-ins without a prior reservation
The Hotel Offer does apply to corporate, group or conference rates or travel agency bookings and may not be combined with other discount offers or programs including rates on third party travel or daily deal websites
This Hotel Offer may not be available during public holidays. Minimum night stays and special event or seasonal restrictions may apply
The Hotel Offer is valid for new bookings made in accordance with these Rules and does not apply to any existing booking where a deposit or payment has been made
Hotel rates are quoted in local currency or as specified by the hotel
The Hotel Offer does not include air travel, hotel transfers or other inclusions unless otherwise specified on the Hotel Offer
All bookings are subject to the standard payment and cancellation policies (see Section 3 “HOTEL POLICIES” below)
To redeem the Hotel Offer, the Mastercard Expo mobile application digital of the Hotel Offer must be presented at the hotel reception at the time of check in
The Hotel Offer is valid for travel up to the 31st of March 2022.

3. HOTEL POLICIES

All bookings are subject to the applicable hotel’s standard reservations, payment and cancellation policies. Before finalising your reservation, please review the hotel’s policy on advance deposits, cancellations and late arrival guarantees. The Mastercard Expo will not accept any responsibility for each hotel’s management policies.

4. HOTEL TERMS

What is the "Best Available Rate"?

The Hotel Offers are based on a discount off the Best Available Rate at each hotel. The “Best Available Rate” is the fully flexible “non-restricted” room only rate of the day quoted directly by the hotel reservations to the public and is generally published on the hotel’s website. It may also be referred to as the “Best Flexible Rate” or “Rack Rate”. The Best Available Rate varies from the hotel’s other promotional rates including weekend package rates, advance purchase rates, all inclusive package rates and summer/Ramadan rates.

What is "Subject to Availability"?

The Hotel Offers are “Subject to Availability” of rooms at the discounted rate allocated to this promotion at the time of booking at each hotel. When this allocation of rooms is filled, the Hotel Offer may then no longer be available to Mastercard Expo members, even if the hotel still has rooms available to be sold at full rate. Please check availability of the Hotel Offer with hotel reservations at the time of booking.

Public Holidays / Seasonal Restrictions

The Hotel Offers may not be available during public holiday periods including Eid holidays in GCC destinations. Some hotels may also have minimum night stay requirement for all bookings, or specific block-out dates during special event or peak seasonal periods. This requirement may also apply to the Hotel Offers. Please check with the hotel prior to making a booking.

Are both offers valid at the same time?

For selected hotels and only if specified on the Hotel Offer, you may use the “One Complimentary Night” offer for the first two nights of your booking and the 20% discount Hotel Offer may be used for any additional nights when you extend your stay, subject to availability.
