We were a group of 7 that went for The Village Brunch at the Downtown Rotana. The food and venue is fantastic and we had a wonderful time. Music is a bit too loud and difficult to have a conversation around the table, but nice music. Staff is very nice and service minded. Special thanks to Lubna for good service :-)

I’m supposed to be in a non-smoking room, but the room reeked of cigarettes, the smell was unbearable, told the staff at reception did nothing, then complained again and they changed he room, better late than never, so thanks to the person I spoke to at the evening who sorted things out. That aside, the hotel is very good, rooms are great, location is close to where I wanted to be, so no complaints.

Good hotel for the access to the Bab al Bahrain and all the shops in this district. So, for shopping for nearly anything, this makes it easy. Some good food options nearby but not luxury oriented. Cinnamon in the Bab area was very good. Rooms are of a good size with great big windows and views, but all of them are dirty like nearly all big city high rise hotels. Our first room was at floor 23 and we suffered from music until 1 Am from the bar at floor 25, despite asking for quiet. We moved down to floor 16 and that room was quiet but the AC was not dehumidifying the air. So it was dank all the time. We put of it because we did not want to pack and move again or have to be dealing with repairs in the room. They would have taken care of us if we asked for help. Told then on check out. Breakfast was good. Service was 'too attentive' for our needs but they do want you to have what you want and god forbid that used plate stay on the table more than 2 minutes. Recommended.

Came for the Village Brunch and oh boy was it good!! Very decently priced and really really good food and service! We honestly liked everything! Everyone was really great and Loubna took really good care of us with a very warm and friendly service.. oh, and music was fantastic too, both DJ and band!

We really enjoyed our time here in Rotana, and amazing foods and drinks. Thanks to Lubna and other staffs who served us with so much respect. Thank you “The Village Brunch”
