Very nice staff; the buffet and the waiters are superb! I am allergic to nuts and Glory was amazing with me and advised what I could eat and what I could not.
The rooms need a little bit of TLC. You can see that 15/20years ago, it was a very good hotel but it looks like it has not been renovated since.
Friday evening is the Indian Street Party night. Prepare not to sleep that night until at least 11pm. We called the reception to enquire when the noise would stop as there were kids running and shouting, people talking loudly, etc. The theme night is in the reception area and all the rooms have their doors facing towards the atrium above reception. Because of this atrium type of configuration it produces a loud echo…
Otherwise, and if it is not Friday, you will sleep very well. Very comfy beds.
For what we paid, it is very good quality.
You will need a car, but I guess like everywhere in Muscat. However there are supermarkets and coffee shops in walking distance.
