So times are a bit different at the moment which means less people travelling but the staff at the hotel make travelling still a delightful experience. My stay was great, the food was good and the service 5 star. The hotel room was perfect it very spacious and modern. The indoor & outdoor pools are really good. The hotel take the safety of its residents very seriously which was great for anyone worried about the dreaded virus. The local town of Mdina is a 10 minute drive away which is a must visit. Good hotel with nice facilities and amazing staff. Thank you. More
We stayed at this hotel for a long weekend break and we were amazed by the service provided. All employees in F&B, H/K, Reception, Concierge and Management were helpful and assisted in every way to our requests. Our dining experience in the Summer Kitchen and the Rickshaw Restaurant was simply fantastic; the food was to die for and with great presentation from the Chefs on duty, especially the octopus starter in the Summer Kitchen – highly recommended. The waiters were polite and very accommodating and they even find time for guest interaction. The room was clean and we felt safe at all times with sanitizers placed everywhere across the property. We were pleased to see that the COVID-19 mitigation measures are being adhered to as well especially during breakfast. The attending staff at the gym are helpful too and very courteous. A recommendation to the Management of this Hotel is regarding the Athenaeum Spa. Apart from the fact that the Spa closes on Sundays and Public Holidays which is a big let-down, please do address this matter as the staff in this particular section are not helpful at all – they try to give an impression that they are giving a high ‘customer service’ but they do not know how to handle guests’ requests, at times being very rigid and sarcastic and not going the extra mile to help in seeing the guests happy and accommodated. However, I have to admit that this was the only downfall during our stay, because all else was super. Thank You Corinthia Palace Hotel for a very nice experience!More
We couldn't have chosen a better Hotel to celebrate 30th Birthday. We are frequent guests at Corintha Palace and we absolutely love it. All the staff is wonderful they always make sure we have a pleasant stay. I am always impressed with how clean every where is. Food is fantastic. Well done to all the amazing team for their hard work :)More
We have just returned from yet another, our 16th time there, wonderful holiday at ‘The Corinthia Palace Hotel & Spa’. This time my husband & I celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary. We have spent numerous anniversaries and birthdays there, the staff always spoil us with cake & bubbly. This year we were concerned about travelling due to all the uncertainty surrounding COVID-19. However, on arrival at the Corinthia we were immediately put at ease. The management has put in place every measure possible to safeguard its guests and staff. The level of attention to detail, courteousness and ‘old style charm’ is why we keep coming back year after year. Nothing is too much trouble and we consider the staff, old and new, as our Maltese family. The hotel is situated in the centre of the island, opposite the palace. It’s so quiet and tranquil. Don’t be put off by the location, as there is so much to see and do there. With Malta being such a small island nothing is far away and busses are cheap and plentiful. We always hire a car at the airport, that way we can go wherever we please. Like the UK they also drive on the left. The hotel’s spa has just had a huge renovation and managed by the wonderful Suzanne, it is awesome. Truly a sight to behold! The hotel has a number of places to eat including ‘The Summer Kitchen’ and the extremely popular ‘Rickshaw restaurant‘, asian cuisine, which is unmissable. There are also plenty of restaurants within walking distance of the hotel for example, Sarachinos, Melita and Jailie’s in Attard and Fra Giuseppe and Opera Balzan. Each year we say that maybe this time we should try a different hotel in a different country, as BC (before Corinthia) we could never understand why people would keep returning to the same place. However, we are hooked and in the words of an old Maltese friend we are ‘repeat offenders’. 😂 We love all of the staff there, but would like to say a special thank you to a few of them who made this trip so memorable for us. Jenny at the Villa Corinthia. Raymond at the Villa Corinthia. Sanje & Lizio at the Villa bar. Memeley at the Rickshaw. Suzanne at the Spa. Kevin, Jimmy & Nicholai concierges. Not forgetting the lovely housekeeping ladies, sorry we don’t know your names. Nothing was too much trouble for them and they all contributed to making our holiday a wonderful experience, yet again!More
We stayed as a family in 2 rooms 12-19 September 2019 at Corinthia Palace. At the time, the hotel was conducting building works. Minor building work noise could be heard from the pool area however the Complimentary shuttle bus to the other Malta corintha hotel where we could use their facilities (multiple pools and rocky beach platform) at the coast made up for any discomfort. The food at the hotel was spectacular, from the classical music at breakfast to the speciality dining in the Corinthia restaurant. The crepe suzette which Jennifer kindly arranged to be cooked in front of our table was delightful, she really looked after us over several evenings and her and the team should be highly commended for all their efforts. Recommend half board. The rickshaw and caprice were both delightful hotel restaurants. Why eat out when the hotel food is so good? Huge Maltese portions if you enjoy that. Morning Pilates if you wanted, pleasant very attentive staff, helpful concierge. Plush hallways, from a bygone age, discerning, a bit shabby in places with mature settings but overall very enjoyable. We also enjoyed afternoon tea, a jet2 holiday that we would like to go back to which is rare for us. The hotel is situated near the botanical gardens, no need to hire a car, only issue was queuing for the treadmills due to the influx of business customers. We are looking forward to a return trip in more normal circumstances.More
