This was our first and long pending visit to Riyasat restaurant. Located at St. Regis(the most sophisticated and opulent hotel space in Doha), Riyasat offers Indian cuisines in its own style. We opted for a brunch. The brunch was full of varieties. As we are vegetarian and bit skeptical about the options but I must say they had nothing less than any Indian restaurant and of course very different options. We spent almost 3 hours there and we had lot of food and all food was well cooked, delicious and sufficient enough in quantity. The portion of all items was good enough to finish which is a very good thing. No wastage at all. Dahi Kabab, Chenna Seekh Kabab and Beetroot Chops were top of my list. Refer pics for more. Desert - Kulfi Gadbadi (Deepak explained the story behind and served it) from Mangalore was good to taste. Chai masala was add on to the cuisine in the last and helped digested all we had.
Staff was very pleasant, helpful and always smiling. Rashid was our server and he took care of us very well throughout the Brunch. We had a quick chit chat being from same region back in India. All other staff was also very good and always attentive.
If you are vegetarian and have never visited...go for the brunch. Surely recommended as it is a worth.
Not to mention, the ambience is very good, you can experience bit Indian paintings and other decorations.
Must visit !! We will visit again for Ala Carte options, may be...
Thanks to the restaurant, staff, cooks, chefs and Bartenders. We enjoyed !
