Tropicana 360

I love this place and been there a lot of times. The service has been really slow a lot of times and I understand as I work in hospitality. However, service staff here really need to work on themselves and pay more attention to their guests. My friend and I took a table on the terrace and were waiting for more than 10 minutes to be attended by a server, ultimately my friend told one the supervisors that we’ve been waiting to order and the supervisor replied that you just came that’s why nobody came to your table yet. What is this behaviour? 😅 We had to call food runner as he was confused with our table. If someone request to switch tables, its a basic thing to communicate your staff to change the table number on the food order ticket. Communication was clearly missing. Cocktails are always delicious and made to perfection, but you guys need to check your glasses as well. I was served my drink in a chipped glass which could easily cut my lip. When we arrived, latin music was playing on full volume, by 12:15 am, there was no music at all. Even if there’s local regulation, I believe low background music is still allowed. All we could hear was people chattering and calling waiters to place their orders. The location is perfect, the menu is perfect, but the service is terrible. I usually don’t put reviews however I was really compelled to write this time. Hopefully team will work on it.

Tropicana 360 is a gem of a restaurant that transports you to a tropical paradise. The ambiance is warm and inviting, with vibrant colors and lush greenery creating an exotic setting. The menu offers a diverse fusion of flavors from different regions, catering to all preferences. The freshness and quality of the ingredients shine through in each meticulously prepared dish. The standout feature is the exceptional service. The staff is attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable, going the extra mile to provide a memorable dining experience. The food is spectacular, bursting with authenticity and creativity. Each bite is a delight, with harmonious flavors and textures. The presentation is elegant, adding an artistic flair. Tropicana 360 also offers a wide selection of tropical-inspired beverages that perfectly complement the cuisine. Overall, it is a true tropical oasis for food enthusiasts. Highly recommended for a memorable and delightful dining experience.

Overall, I enjoyed the vibes and music in Tropicana 360. Place seems pretty busy on weekends. Prefer outdoor during the winter. We'll definitely visit there again to have a sip!

The atmosphere is good, stunning view of Old Doha Port, friendly and attentive staffs. The layout is spacious, so the place is comfortable. The best part is, the receptionist will remember you. She’ll say “Hi, Mr Lee, your friends are at the deck side”. However, one star is missing. The sound system is relatively good but not stunning.

We were stunned by the beauty of view and restaurant until we experienced the service. What a terrible service for such a stunning restaurant located in 5 stars hotel. i was so disappointed how slow,unorganized and moody waiters were. We were waiting at the table at least for 15mins seeing waiters passing by all the time but no one approached or even offered the menu to us. Then we had to wait again to order once we got the menu. Still, seeing the same waitress passing by but not even approaching any table. Like she was busy with just walking here and there. No cutlery and table napkins provided when we got our foods. Just one piece of tissue for 2 people to use. The service there continuously disappointed us that we decided to leave as soon as we finished our foods. At the end we decided to ask the lady who kept passing by all the time for the bills. Once the bill was settled she even said “i hope you had an amazing experience with us”. We both were obviously unsatisfied but she didn’t even ask or wait for the feedback and just left like that. After reading the reviews about waiters and service here. we understand that it was not just happening to us but to so many other customers. Seeing comments about service and the responses from the restaurant from many months ago. I can say that there is nothing changed. They really need to work on the customer service.
