Cafe Gui

Very nice and cozy Korean Inspired cafe located in Royal Square. Most dishes are a rendition of typical Korean dishes. Recommend to try the Beef Ribeye with Rice Ball, Okonomiyaki Fries (Which was a very generous portion) and the Cookies and Cream Latte! Place was clean and music was good. Food was an 8.5/10, and I’d consider that to be very very good.

Cafe was very minimalistic and straightforward so it can be a soothing place to chill. Food is okay, ramen was served generously. Ordered the honeycomb coffee and it was okay. The coffee is strong so if you're into that, might try as well. They have cool music and and menu would somehow tell you the history of why it was named Gui.

My order 🧾 🌟 Bibim Guksu (cold), $14.90+ 🌟 Hojicha Pudding, $5.90+ 🌟 Blue Blossom, $4.50+ Bibim Guksu (cold) Perfectly refreshing for the hot weather 😌 It tastes pretty homely and comforting with its cold springy somen coated in sour and spicy sauce. This comes with lots of seaweed flakes, crunchy kimchi slices, cucumber and ramen egg Hojicha Pudding Pretty silky and smooth with fragrant roasted Hojicha flavour that is quite prominent. Topped with a thin layer of caramel sauce that is not overly sweet so that it doesn’t overpower the hojicha flavour. The pudding itself is not sweet Blue Blossom More for the ‘gram 😜 It’s blue pea with cultured milk (aka yakult). 🇸🇬 CAFE GUI | JAPANESE-KOREAN 🇯🇵🇰🇷 📍 103 Irrawaddy Rd, #02-10 Royal Square at Novena, Singapore 329566 Unlike the usual cafe that only serves all day breakfast and pasta, Cafe Gui offers different Korean and Japanese dishes that you gotta try! The main theme of cafe is white in color with a minimalistic look - so you will have a cosy, homey feeling when you stepped into the cafe. Very suitable as a place to chill with friends or weekend getaway 🏝️ Dosirak Rice Bowl is their must-try dish, it is gold-tinted bento box that you can always see in the Korea drama. Make sure to shake it before you have it so that the kimchi is well spread with rice. They have a mix of ingredients - pan-fried spam, kimchi, seaweed and runny eggs Bibim Guksu, which is Korean cold somen noodles. Very cool and refreshing especially for the hot weather in Singapore now! Beef is surprisingly good as main dish, it was the beef cube with saikoro sauce, and furikake rice on the side - beef was tender soft with little bit sweetness by the sauce Dalgona Honeycomb is highly recommend, strong espresso goes well with the fresh milk, I love the crunchy honeycomb candy on the top as well! Blue Blossom Drink is just dreamy and nice for taking pictures✨✨Hojicha Pudding is the staff recommendation which it didn’t disappoint me. The pudding was silky smooth with a light Hojicha taste, their brownies were very nice as well and I can finish the whole plate myself

Cute cozy place for lunch. Short walk from Novena MRT. We ordered the Dosirak box, the Ramen, and Hojicha pudding. Both main meals were good (the dosirak was cute), but the hojicha pudding was the winner for us). Customer service was good too - friendly and proactive employees.
