This theme restuarant has a quirky internal decoration featuring old furniture and curios and the old leading stairways brought an instant excitement. Following the initial surprise, the dishes we were served though nice and pleasant somehow lacking the wow factor. I still wonder if they represent taiwanese cuisine. Despite previous review, our experience with the service was rather good as the waiter happily move us to a more comfortable table with an excellent window view of Wan Chai upon our request. Overall the fun factor is greater than the food experience. Yet I am happy to return to this resturant in the future. Read more
Service was slow to start with, waiting person, no matter who was like living in a dream, we order several dishes, in about 15minutes later one of the server came back and told us some of the dishes were sold out. OK, we selected something else and ask if those were available and was assured that they were. Another 15 minutes passed the server came back and told us that a few dishes we chose were sold out. We were all quite fed up with it and told the server to bring us anything available. Food was finally brought to the table but the table was so small while the plates are too big for the portion of food. Starters were served nearly at the end of the meal and some of the mains were served first. Overall Food is not bad but the server and kitchen needed a lot of coordination and training.Read more
Visited for lunch with a family group of 10 based on my bro’s web searches and was not disappointed. Great theme of restaurant that I really appreciated (I don’t normally care for cliche or random wall hung junk, but this place did sparky my interest of the old world Hong Kong). Tons of great options were ordered, but my fave was the brisket noodle soup which is their speciality. Great stock, fresh noodles which were well cooked and a fantastic blend of slow cooked glutinous brisket that fell apart and sliced brisket with less hours behind it. Highly recommend!Read more
Cosy Taiwanese restaurant that serves rare vegetable that imported from Taiwan. All dishes are in small portions that fit for individual and small group. Retro decoration which is good for photo sharing. Food is ok but no surprise.Read more
I went there with my friend in the evening and the restaurant decorated like 70's Hong Kong style and look pretty. The price is not so expensive and the taste is not bad! I like the restaurant atmosphere and let you chat with your friend relaxingly! Read more
