Overall not impressed. Server was friendly but it was her second day so she put our starters and mains through together and served 1 main and one starter. Also I ordered the beef fillet on black risotto with truffle cream. It came through as beef fillet with fries. I also ordered it medium rare. The lamb shank wasn't fall off the bone tender and service took a very very long time. The starters were okay but not thrilling. We were the only 2 patrons in the restaurant but no manager came to ask if things are okay. I didn't finish my fillet which honestly had a funny taste to it. Even though I didn't ask for a doggy bag the chef didn't come out to say hi. Poor server was left to do it and we assured her it's not her fault. On the plus side they have Erdinger Weiss on tap but that's not enough to have us go back.

1st visit & was nervous after UK pub food experience but blown away by the quality on offer. Great selection of wines, lovely food with great service. This unassuming eatery will pleasantly surprise you. Great specials available.

Absolutely incredible, the food and specials are amazing! I would recommend to anyone that enjoys really good food, fresh oysters, tender steak and amazing wine. We have been back 3 times and will be coming again for more 5/5

It is such a nice place to relax and enjoy yourself with or without friends ..... you will make friends quickly, atmosphere great. Adriano, the owner, has done so much to the restaurant....great place for the family to enjoy. Finlay

Ashton Gardener is featured on Wednesdays playing lovely guitar music and singing along with a great voice...Great place, friendly atmosphere and a nice wine selection
