Up in Edinburgh for a few days and my wife picked this place out for dinner. Really nice relaxed comfortable feel to the place, staff very friendly and attentive. They have Blue Moon wheat beer on tap which is a fantastic start to any meal but also great cocktail and wine list (the Malbec was fabulous) . We had the venison which was exceptional followed by the much vaunted sticky toffee pudding which I have to say was nothing short of spectacular ! All in all thoroughly enjoyable experience and an excellent antidote to corona virus melancholy - WE HAVE TO GET OUT AND SUPPORT PLACES LIKE THIS DURING THE CURRENT DIFFICULTIES ! Very highly recommended.More
Popped in for a quick bite as the entrance was so good looking. Was not disappointed as this is a great place for a pint or a bite to eat. Had the best, and I’ve tried a few, homemade pancakes bacon n maple syrup. Good amount of bacon with three pancakes left me feeling full and ready to start my usual pub crawl around pubs in the great capital of our country to delight in. Cheers folks, enjoy.More
Having spent the morning in the hustle and bustle of Edinburgh city centre we were looking for somewhere to have lunch and a friend recommended this place. As we entered and were shown a table it became very evident that the place was relaxed and calm. Being early on a Friday afternoon the place only had a few people in having food. We where given the brunch/lunch menu and our drink order taken. The choice of drinks was very extensive both in terms of alcoholic and non alcoholic. We ordered some olives and bread to accompany our drinks before ordering our lunch. As time went by you realised how tastefully decorated the place is which adds to the atmosphere and it was becoming a real chill out. We both ordered the steak and onion sandwich with the steak being cooked medium rare. When it came we were not disappointed and it was accompanied with a good size portion of skinny fries. Whilst we were paying the bill we started to talk to the very friendly waiter who told us that there was a refurbishment coming up with outdoor dining coming. We have put it in the diary to visit again in the summer.More

Stopped here for a spot of lunch whilst wandering Edinburgh. It was a lovely atmosphere and has friendly staff. We were seated quickly and our orders were taken. I’m a meat eater but I decided to have a vegetarian blue cheese salad and it was amazing, I’d definitely recommend it. I’d certainly visit here again. More
