Me and my wife stay here for honeymoon. Banyan tree made the memories amazing. We stay here for 2 nights, from the very first time we checkin, the receptionist and bellman service are already amazing. They asked about our food preference to make sure we are fine during stay which i dont get from other hotels. We told them that we are vegetarian, they take the note on that. We feel their attention. And they also provide us honeymoon set up and honeymoon cake at the room. The room is huge. The pool also. Although the furniture and facilties are outdated and seems old. But thats fine because we know Banyan Tree is already 10 years. no wonder all the staffs have such a great and excellent service skill Hopefully, they can do renovation soon, so i can visit again with my wife and parents. Thankyou bambu staff, bellman staff, receptionist staff specially to Ms. Jessica at the front desk, for helping us patiently and guide us about Bali, she understands real well about our preferencce since the first day we checkin. tiredlessly help us to find indian restaurant around Nusa dua and jimbaran, recommended some activity and beautiful romatic place so i can bring my wife to spend time. If you want a quiet getaway with the love one. Banyan Tree is for you. i cant wait to come back. see you again banyan tree and bali.Read more
I have been a regular traveller to Bali & this was my fourth visit to the Bali Islands. This time I had taken a Holi break with my husband & my cousins. And we had taken the ocean view pool villa which was just breathtaking.I would like to thank my friend Arbella Purdianikusuma for being a perfect host 😃 The restaurant Ju Ma Na is no less than any Michelin star restaurant with outstanding concise menu & variety of wines. The staff at Banyan Tree is superb 😃 The property is huge & very instagram favourite. The pool we had was spectacular with lovely view. Our room was huge & beautiful. Every element in the property is created beautifully. The restaurants are really good with one of the best breads (their inhouse breads) I ever had. They’ve one of the best breakfast buffet I have ever had trust me on this. I would definitely this property to people looking for a luxurious private villa experience in Bali. Thank you guys for the lovely experience. Surely, visiting Banyan Tree again😃Read more

Little to gripe about with respect to villa (expansive, private, well-designed) or staff (cheerful, English-speaking). Private pool and Jacuzzi were clean. Had a view of entrance of another villa, but otherwise very private. Given the COVID situation we learned that less than 1/3 of the property was occupied. Wifi was password-free and adequate (2 networks in one villa, had to keep switching back and forth). TV had enough international channels to be interesting. Very large bathroom/bathtub with double sinks/vanity mirrors. In room safe, coffee maker, hair dryer, wine fridge and normal minibar fridge. Lots of complimentary bottled water. The resort had in-villa breakfast in the weekend we were there, possibly in response to low guest nos, COVID, or both. Lots of food, but mostly carbohydrates and not spectacular. Fruit was probably local and not really good. Tried the Jumana restaurant for dinner. Nice view, but since we had already gone to the beach earlier, not as spectacular as it might have otherwise been. Food was all right for the price (about USD$120 per person without wine pairing. Not worth a return visit, I think. Earnest staff. The waiter who opened up my wine was not particularly trained in decanting and presenting wine though. A long-stemmed rose was given to my companion on departure - nice touch! Overall, glad I went. Would revisit resort. but hope for buffet breakfast to be reinstated and eat meals outRead more
