Battery Centre Cape Town

Been having issues with the battery that I bought my bakkie with. Went in to have a professional assessment done. After doing the relevant test's it was the battery that was defective. The cherry on the top was it was replaced at absolutely no cost to me. Now this is honest service that's not experienced often. A big up to Battery Centre...keep doing what you do best with integrity and honesty. This will be my go to shop for future purchases even if it's a long drive from the Southern suburbs.

Make sure the team does a quality control check after installing a new battery. We drove off and not 500m away from the branch, our car was dead, which was dangerous and could have caused an accident. The next few days, it kept dying and we had to wait for long periods until the car clock came back. When we called and visited the branch again, we were given lectures from about how there is no fault with the battery, the car wiring is messed up, we must take the car to an auto-electrician to replace xyz. It made us feel gaslit and crazy. When they were going to remove the recent battery to test a different one and prove their point that nothing was wrong with the job done, lo and behold they discovered that one of the bolts on the battery terminal was lose. It seems that while they were rushing to install the battery a few days earlier, the team missed a basic quality check. They didn't even apologise for the oversight on their part and inconvenience/stress caused over the past few days. Do better BCMG team

They ain’t willing to help anyone who is coming for exchange for a battery with warranty which they say if you buy any battery from any our branches you can exchange any our branch I don’t get it when I was there I was surprised the guy was very rude was willing to help saying that because your battery was bought in Belleville so you can’t exchange it because we are not in good terms with them I didn’t get what he was meaning by that. I won’t advise to buy anything from this branch

I took my car in to have the a/c regassed. I was not told that there was any problem. I paid, it was done and I left. It does not work and now when I attempt to call them and enquire, suddenly the number does not work....I rate them ZERO stars( but unfortunately I had to choose 1 star in order to post my review) I eventually managed to get a hold of them via email and was asked to bring my car back in no charge, and they had a look at my a/c again. This time they were more thorough and explanatory; and apparently my a/c is damaged. Now if only this could have been detected and communicated to me on the first visit. It would have saved me time and money.
