Hidden away gem. Food is excellent, beautifully presented and decent-sized portions. The venue itself is stunning at night, those outside lights just creates an amazing vibe, cant wait for summer evenings so the outside terrace can be enjoyed. Received WikiDeal service though, which is a pity as I wouldn't have known about it otherwise.

….We decided to come here to celebrate the onset of Spring and it was a good idea to redeem our WIKI-DEAL voucher for a 2 course dinner for two people. It was as simple as ABC to secure the reservation as Cathrine was absolute-lii charming. On our arrival here we had to pass through a locked gate, mount a very steep stairway to get to the floor where the reception area is and the love-lii entrance to the restaurant. We were blown away with the sheer setting of this restaurant the pastel-light blue colour on the walls gave the place a real-lii relaxing ambience with the beautiful massive blue pool just outside the glass partitions. Absolute-lii stunning sight. The PUB is right at the entrance and it is well stocked. The place is sober-lii decorated with only one picture on one wall the Bougainvillea Name on the opposite wall framed with an artificial bougainvillea branch. On same pillars there are broken-plate pieces stuck a real different kind of decor. (Huh??? Hope it’s not proof of what happens when they have pool-parties are on! Hahaha) There are lots of tables inside and lots more outside around the pool and on the side. But today there is a 13 kilometre nippy-wind blowing outside so real-lii not ideal weather to be sitting outside. There is a special-card menu for the WIKI-DEALS! The cocktails here looks nice and the prices are fair. We started off by ordering a virgin-strawberry daiquiri @ R 55 and a glass of Durbanville merlot wine @ R 70 per glass. Our mains of the menu was a Wagyu-burger with sweet potato fries and a Ribeye steak with chips. The meats serve was most definitely from “A” grade meat as it tasted most delicious and was prepared well, the presentation was just as good. And for desserts we had a Affogato and cheese-cake served with ice-cream, top class as one would expect it to be. We try-lii enjoyed our visit here and would recommend this venue to all without doubt. Our waiter was “Nceba” was cool and very professional at all times. NB! When we enquired about parking Cathrine suggested we just park on the main road so not sure if there is parking available here……Most days of the week they have “Specials” as advertised….

We redeemed our wiki voucher here , the place is cozy and the outside terrace also very lovely in the evening , just the weather wasn't good was too windy to sit outside cause of my sinus , we dined inside . Their prices is very affordable

Beautiful place nice view,we went for a breakfast and man it was delicious,I loved there cappuccinos too…the staff are all professional and so friendly ❤️

We had an absolutely stunning Valentine’s Day dinner at Bougainvillea. Will definitely be back for another visit. The restaurant is beautifully and tastefully decorated and the food was great. Thank you Chris and Cathy(Catherine) for making our evening so special.
