Butcher's Knife

The service was excellent. The team of servers stayed on top of everything and made great recommendations. The Buffalo Wings as an appetizer were very good. They had a buttery Buffalo sauce that was not very spicy. The bread, butter and steak dish was decent but the filet on the steak and lobster dish was delicious. Also, both steak dishes came out perfectly cooked to the request temperature. Will definitely dine here again.

The butchers knife is a new steakhouse in Bahrain. Me as a person who enjoys trying something different every time in Bahrain. I consider this restaurant is one of the best discoveries in the country. We tried big man tomahawk, steak n cheese fries, lamb kofta & cheese and some beverages. The tomahawk is impressively delicious! I haven’t never been able to describe its taste as I am writing this review. Other dishes were fine. But the steak it is truly a masterpiece. Highly recommended to try their unique experience.

Atmosphere was great. Staff were friendly and flexible to our adjustments of order. Butchers green salad was sooo good, mixture of flavors of greens with apples and raisins with dried cherries was divine, I loved how they cut beetroot into thin long slices and roll them up, salad dressing was delicious as well. the Appetizers were very overpriced and small in portions, the mashed potatoes tastes synthetic, as if they were made from readily packed mashed potatoes powder. The steamed broccoli tastes bland with dull texture. The edemmame were overcooked and has sooo many black pepper on top that obscure the flavor. Poutine fries was actually good and flavorefull. Meat of steaks was good as well. The small plate of bread they served as hospitality came in room temperature. It would be better if it was warm. Pasion fruit juice was ok but a bit too sweet. We sat outside as some dishes has alot of smoke. Music playlist kept on repeating. Overall overpriced!!!

Tonight we ordered many things on the menu, but my selection would be: Wagyu Short Rib & Saffron Risotto, and for the mains either the Prime Fillet Mignon 😋 My only suggestion is to try to focus on one theme, I feel like they have a wide variety of things from steaks to seafood to grilled things. Sometimes, less is more 🙏🏼 The staff are really nice and were helpful throughout the night. 😁
