I love their lunch menu, with 4 courses for 28 SGD, you can have soup, salad, main course of salmon or steak or lamb or chicken and more to choose. Foods taste very good and good portion for Lunch. the all day breakfast is also good. I ate almost everyday in this restaurant and had happy memory for this place. Read more
I ordered cali Wings, fish n chips, wagyu's burger, crab meat pasta and 2 smoothies. The wings were served first. I found it rather bad as the outer skin wasn't crisp enough and the meat quite bland. The smoothies were rather terrible too. Crab meat pasta was a disaster. My kids protested the moment they ate it. They commented that it tasted worse than hawker food. I tried a mouth and immediately regretted. But food being food, I tried to finish it while thinking about the hungry kids from third world countries. The wagyu burger was bad too. It is one of those meals that one feels very angry and disappointed at the end. Don't come.Read more
Cut all the bs, this is simply a hotel drink-hole with restaurant pretensions. Went for lunch because it was near my office, but I regretted the experience. Caesar Salad, Striploin Steak, Brownie - The best thing was the Caesar salad, because it tastes as Caesar salad dressing would. - The striploin was clearly functional: tough and chewy, but it's beef. There's clearly no love or passion in how the food was prepared. - Saving grace was the serving of mashed potato with the beef. - Brownie tastes like it's factory-made, and the vanilla icecream from the factory's next door. As I was making payment, I noticed the regular menu offered a 3-course meal for $24++, slightly cheaper than Restaurant Week. I asked the counter what the differences in menu were, and an uncouth, irritated server butted in and replied, "It's just marketing for Restaurant Week." Lol.. Are you guys kidding me? Never again. I gave 3 stars for the nice setting and the nice Indian fellow at the counter - he did try to explain things politely, and suggested promotions. -1 star for the rude server, and the not-so-good food. The place is rather convenient next to bouna vista mrt station. A quiet little corner. Never knew it was there. The menu is extensive from many starters, pizza, pasta, main dishes like steak or fish & chips and even Asian delights like curry with rice. Mains range from $20-30. Better value when there’s discounts or promotions. The steak and fries was pretty tasty. The salad was very little though. The steak was juicy enough and done nicely. There’s a pool table there which guests can play freely. Quite a fun spot for chilling out. There’s happy hour until 6:30pm, wouldn’t mind going back to chill there. Read more
