Lovely little shop that caught our attention! We bought the Lemon Meringue tart and the Mixed Berries tart to taste. For the Lemon Meringue tart: the cookie-like pastry base is done to perfection, with good thickness, texture/crunch, taste and colour. It breaks off without crumbling, unlike some others that are too brittle and fall apart easily. The lemon curd is smooth and balances sweet and sour deliciously, with just the right amount of tart/tang. Not overpowering. The meringue is whipped to the right consistency – lusciously airy, yet 'full', without being overly sweet. I'm saving the Mixed Berries tart for later!
Caro, thanks for bringing a delicious bit of France to Singapore. We used to buy our tarts from another patisserie, which does good tarts too. But as they grew in popularity, the service became appalling and orders took a week to be fulfilled. Service matters. We hope your wonderful service remains consistent as your popularity grows.
