It’s been five years since we last had lunch at Jaspas in Hoi Pong Square in Sai Kung. It’s still there, and just as popular with expats and visiting Hong Kongers alike. But the food and service seem to have slipped a notch. Unless my palate has deteriorated, the seared tuna and natchos were not what they used to be. We've only ever done Jaspas for breakfast/brunch and for what it is it's quite good - highly recommend the beef on toast (sounds odd tastes amazing). Service is decent, prices are decent, but nothing out of the ordinary.Read more
My partner and I were spending time together before my trip overseas. We ordered the pudding and apple crumble. Only one of the deserts came out. I enquired about the other one 25 minutes later and apparently it was never ordered. Major communication issues at this place. Will never go back.Read more

We lived in Sai Ying Pun for a month Feb/Mar 2017. We knew other Jaspas from previous years at Kennedy Town. This one is smaller: great service, excellent breakfasts, coffee strong but they'll make it your way on request. If you need a taxi after brekkie go up the escalator to Bonham rd; OR go down to 1st St. for a good flow of taxis. markets [looking only, out of interest] in 3rd St. The restaurants in High St are all worth a taste. Check out the charming french experts in the small French wine shop in High st just steps above Jaspas. Good hairdresser in th elane down from the French Wine shop.Read more
