Walked past this place the other night and agreed to go here due to the nice vibe. We were not disappointed! Food was excellent and the service was on top! I had the Texas meat plate (served on Thursday and Friday) which was comfort food all the way to a good price. My daughter loved the pork with apple sauce. Can really recommend for anyone, whether you're with friends or family.Read more
3 course lunch for HKD 99 plus service is really good value. I usually get a great salad, and a reasonable NZ steak. Service is attentive and friendly. Read more
Came here for breakfast. Everything was intensely bland. We ordered their special, "mexican tacos." We knew it was going to be awful when the size was humongous (always a bad sign in Hong Kong), the salsa was clearly from a can (inedible), and the waitress then proceeded to grind black pepper onto the tacos. We asked to take it back, which they did, but still made us pay for, along with the service charge. We also had French toast, which came cold and was literally syrup and some berries (no cream or anything). Didn't make it to half-way through. As for coffee, I honestly don't understand how their cappuccino can pass for coffee, we had one sip and left it. Our bill was well above $250 HKD, even after we argued that the food was bad. Lived in HK for a while now, and any restaurant here should be embarrassed to be serving this.Read more
Ollies is a solid SYP neighbourhood staple with Rosedale beef specials on Monday (and Tuesday?) nights. The servers and managers are notably gracious and really go above and beyond to ensure a good experience every time. The burrata salad is a particular stand-out dish, and nearly every other menu item is well-designed and executed with care and consistency. (Exception: there is at least one "tandori" something-or-other chicken on the menu which I ordered once and now tend to avoid.) Brunch is served in the mornings and is worthy of similar kudos. The kitchen is open relatively late on weekdays.Read more
Went for breakfast on a Saturday. Decent choice and good service. Is a good environment to chill! Ordered the breakfast burrito and my girlfriend had scrambled egg on the toast, with cheese and bacon. All good, big portions but nothing that left us excited. Quite pricey as well. So 3 stars!Read more
