Seen the food reviews hence decided to try the place for dinner as it was really very near our villa. All the staff were very polite but the food was a big disappointment. Since it's a cafe under the resort, I would expect it to be better and for them to uphold a certain standard. Food portion was rather small. We ordered seafood spaghetti aglio olio but it was a pesto based sauce lol it was written on the menu. Spaghetti was mushy, too soft and nowhere near al Dante. The seafood wasn't v fresh too. Next was the fish and chips. Looooool the fish was undercooked in the middle and it was a small piece of dory fillet. Staff was apologetic and took it back to the kitchen and did you another piece but she actually broke the middle part to check the doneness lol cos the batter in the middle was already "opened" up. Took the whole plate back, changed only the fish and served it back using the same plate with the remaining greens and fries. They compensated us with a small piece of chocolate cake + a scoop of vanilla ice cream though I would rather prefer a discount on the overall bill. The coconut juice was a bit warm and sourish, didn't finish it. The Americano was pretty standard. Not sure why the ratings are so high tho? I wouldn't come back here again as there are actually a lot more cafes just outside at the main town/road to try.

Booked a table at 11.00 for brunch. Had a light bfast so was here with grumbling stomach. Service is ok but not impressed by their food. Waffle was more bread like, too heavy. It was served without sauce or syrup. We then asked for maple syrup. Tongseng beef was decent, but it was far from how a tongseng is supposed to be. Its a beef soup, not tongseng. Its with no chili, without coconut milk, too watery, and most of all no sweet soy sauce added. This tasted like an instant spice mix bought in supermarket.

I had the pleasure of visiting Republique Cafe not just once but twice for dinner, and both experiences were delightful. This hidden gem, nestled next to a hotel, offers a cosy, inviting atmosphere perfect for a memorable dining experience. The food at Republique Cafe truly impressed me. On both occasions, I was treated to amazing culinary creations that left me craving more. The flavours were rich and well-balanced, and the presentation was visually appealing. What makes Republique Cafe even more remarkable is its quaint and cosy ambience. The location might be hidden, but it only adds to the place's charm. The staff members were attentive and provided excellent service throughout both visits. Another noteworthy aspect of Republique Cafe is its ample parking space for cars. This convenience makes it a stress-free experience for diners who arrive by car, eliminating the hassle of finding parking in a crowded area. I highly recommend trying it, and I'm already looking forward to my next visit.

Small, hidden Café that is located right by the SiniVie Villas. We stayed there two nights, so we had breakfast from the Republique Cafe which was nice. Also went there for lunch once, was so good! Highly recommend the seafood pasta - yummy!
