Emporium Suites by Chatrium

The Emporium group is the biggest in Bangkok and in Sukhumvit it was on full display. The hotel is a bit old but the maintenance is good. The staff is efficient and service is excellent. The amazing thing about this hotel is it's design and location, its a hotel along a mall. So you will have plenty of time exploring the mall and shopping around. The design of the building is excellent in a way there is one door that leads you to a very high end luxury mall called Em square that has all the world's luxury brand stores, gourmet market (supermarket), play and food stores. Then it connects through a walkway to another mall called Emquartier which is on the other side of the road but can be walked through this walkway directly (it's like a bridging road) and have all the time exploring the mall and shopping and eating or just chilling around. They have the best of the brands and best restaurants. The food is carefully priced (comparatively cheaper) compared to other cities in other countries. But the quality is top notch. Then the area around offers so much to explore and experience about.

I'm half-way through my 11 days stay at this hotel. Sad to say that my stay here are marred with unhealthy room conditions (2 big cockroaches crawling around in the room) and poor front desk staff service especially the male staff including the Customer Service Manager (Japanese national). In fact the concierge & doorman staff scored much higher scores in service quality as compared to the front desk. How sad.... I may seriously reconsider coming back to this hotel...

Great hospitality from the concierge team! They were especially kind and understanding and friendly! Suwit was great in communicating and accommodating to our various requests. Can’t recommend it enough!

Service throughout the stay, from check-in to after check-out is excellent! We complained about the noise from the neighbouring room. Action was taken almost immediately and a call was made back to us to check back. All our requests were promptly attended to. We really appreciate and enjoyed our stay. Location is great! Right next to and connected to Phrom Phong BTS. There are 2 malls Emporium and Emquartier right next to the hotel. So we did not need to venture or take the train to anywhere else 😄 Will certainly be back on our next trip!

Fantastic stay! Staff were friendly and accommodating. Very helpful about booking our chauffeur service to Pattaya. Rooms & bathrooms were outdated and need major renovation however we enjoyed the wide and spacious corner room.
