We started the day with a scrumptious breakfast spread at Hyatt Place Al Wasl. It was a mix of American, Arabic, Chinese, Indian & Italian with a huge selection of breads and a minimum of two desserts. There was a range of cereals, with milk, fresh cut fruits, an omelette station and coffee tea options too.
What I attacked first was the salad section that had a great selection of fresh and pickled veggies that I paired with fresh feta cheese, with some greens and Arabic pita bread.
I moved onto having a clear soup and some rice paired with Chinese gravy, that was decent. I sampled some Mac n cheese with a side of spinach & corn too, it was delicious.
In the Indian selection, there was idly Sambar, chutneys and some pongal that was not too spicy, almost like a Kichidi, perfect for kids.
There was a good variety and standard on quality & service. The coffee was top notch, the sausage were great, the omelettes could have been a bit fluffier, they were mostly flat
Overall a great spread that I indulged and ended with a fantastic cappuccino, and ready to be the tourist and start the sightseeing.
