Found hipchips online so had to try it. Much small than we expected and not a huge amount of seats but we managed to squeeze in. We went for a large portion with 3/4 savoury and the rest sweet. Choose 5 savoury dips and a sweet one. All of the dips were so amazing even if some of them were a little hot for me and one friend. The Prosecco was lovely and we absolutely loved the crisps. We were in crisp heaven and will definitely be returning. More
I wouldn't even class myself as a 'Crisp person' but this is one of my favourite stops for a snack, love the sauces!More
HipChips is a busy little eatery in the heart of Soho, but where the accent is on quality. Quality in the form of the types of potato's used, and quality in the form of the dips on offer. Choose from 2, 3 or 6 dips, and a wide range of savoury and sweet coupled with loads of crisps, made this something different. Really enjoyable, to the extent that we couldnt finish them all at lunch, but made a good supper as well. More
I had wanted to try this place for ages so went for lunch pre matinee at the theatre. It didn’t disappoint. I wish I’d been more hungry. We over-ordered but they helpfully put in smaller boxes to take away and the crisps and dips were still delicious the following lunchtime. My favourite dips were the warm smoky cheese fondue and the baba ganoush. I don’t have a particularly sweet tooth but loved the cinnamon sugar crisps with the salted caramel dip. I’ll be going again!More
I wasn’t very hungry, we had a two train subway journey and a walk in the rain with our son having a melt down to get here. After walking past takeaways with no seats, or toilets this place was better than I expected. Shop was warm, spacious and comfortable with plenty of seats and tables. There was also a toilet. Crisps ( salted or cinnamon/sugar) were nice and there was a wide choice of savoury and sweet dips. There was also free tap water to help yourself to. I wouldn’t return personally to sit in, but if i lived locally I would definitely takeaway for a movie night at home. More
