My Father and I were part of the Regency Club where you can have breakfast and an evening buffet. Free alcohol drinks from 6-8 made the upgrade great value for us. All the staff were amazing especially new Father Chiman. He looked after us so well! I believe that we are friends now. Highly recommend the Regency Club. Made our holiday 😊More
Great hotel to stay in Dubai. Alain and Anju are two hotel staff we like to commend. Check-in was effortless. Alain accommodated our early check-in request. Anju looked after us at Regency club. She is very professional and courteous. More
Very nice hotel if you want to be close to the interesting old city. Walking distance to there, which was great. A new Metro line almost right next to the hotel has started. They are building a kind of highway right next to the hotel right now, which gave a little noise. Can only imagine it will be worse the coming year. Not a new hotel but well kept and managed. I recommend using the Club Lounge very much. It's worth it.More
Booked this off the back of an excellent Christmas day meal in Al Dawar a couple years ago. Huge mistake....firstly there is huge amounts of building work going on within feet of the hotel, a 6 lane flyover will run adjacent to the club lounge, pool and gym when completed, for now it's just some trucks and tractors and the overwhelming smell of diesel and hot tarmac you suffer as you try and sunbathe. Now I say sunbathe, but that will only be if you can get a lounger after 10am, the few there are are normally gone or 'reserved' with a towel, although in the winter the sun is gone by 12.30 and wont return until the following day. The staff around the pool will make you know exactly how irritated they are that you want a towel or, God forbid, move the sunbeds. Rooms are very 70s and worn but clean and do the job. Club lounge was nice enough but kids running riot being ignored by parents and staff either dont want to do anything about it or feel they can't- unlike any lounge I have experienced in the past. One kid was covid coughing to the point of being sick all through breakfast one morning and still the family were not asked to leave, instead they put their hands over the childs mouth then proceeded to go and get more food. We didn't eat in there again! This hotel once held prime location but its day has gone, its tired the staff dont really care and as soon as that flyover opens it will be even more horrendous. We gave stayed in many UAE hotels ranging from holiday inns to palazzo versace and this is the only one I would not return to.More
Hyatt Regency Dubai is located in the part of Dubai where the traditional way of life still thrives. It has easy access to and from the airport via Metro and taxis. Although the hotel is more than 40 years old, it still feels sleek and modern complemented by a very polished team of staff. Rooms are spacious, beds are very comfortable with plush bedding which make if the perfect respite after a day of discovering the souks, shops and traditional restaurants in Deira.More
