I was a huge fan of the butcher club burger in wan chai…as their burger was one of the best in hk, unfortunately they closed permanently. I miss their burger a lot so I really have so much expectation. We came here in their 10th anniversary promotion day which is 50% off of the whole menu except steaks The foods look great but the taste of all of them are a huge let down, the burger is nothing like the one in wan chai, we ordered the hot appetizers platter which is around 350$ and it’s definitely taste and feel like a scam, but still, it looks good The potato purée is horrible The 130$ chocolate cake is not bad, but when you pay 130$ for a molten chocolate cake you would except more The uni linguine is the good dish! The bill was around 600$ per person before discount, you can definitely get something much better with 600$

Quite overpriced for the quality and quantity of food served at Butchers Club Grille. We waited for our food for at least 20 minutes. The truffle risotto with beef bourguignon tasted good, but we were expecting the beef bourguignon to be served in a substantial bowl on the side. We only saw 2 pieces of beef and the sauce drizzled on top, it honestly looked quite depressing. The grilled flank steak was a struggle to eat. It was unbelievably difficult to cut through. Not enjoyable at all. The grilled wagyu was a bit easier to ingest but lacked the "wow" factor. Either way, the beef lacked flavor. We also ordered two sides of vegetables - the broccolini and grilled asparagus. The grilled asparagus was a bit soggy. But for $68 each, you won't be getting much in terms of volume. I'm not sure I'd return, but I'd rather go elsewhere else for my steak-fix.

This was the best burger in Hong Kong when they had the Central & Wan Chai branch. I would bring all my international guests to try the burger - sadly the grille falls far short of that high standard. Started off with poor service and the food was only average for the price, despite being only a few tables we waited 30min for our food. Steak was good but under seasoned Go back to what you're good at - beef burger with duck fat fries.

The Butchers Club has now been reinvented into a steakhouse. Though you can still order their classic burger, you can now order steak and other items. They have an excellent wine selection which changes regularly on whatever they purchase from the wholesalers and sell it to you for a low price. Their focus is dry age and wet age steaks from Australia and the US. Prices are fairly reasonable and dishes are large enough to share. Cook in the steak was perfect. Also suggest the clam chowder as there is lots of bacon and the crab cakes as it's all crab. Food was delicious and service was extremely friendly. Located in Quarry Bay, located just a few minutes walk from both Quarry Bay and Taikoo Shing MTR stations.
