Melissa Lourens (a year ago )
For the fact that this was our first visit to La Vita, i have to say it was not pleasent at all.
We were greeted and informed to fill in a page for info. Although it was mentioned on the package that we would be greated with complimentary drinks and snacks, we were not even offered water. We were asked to be followed to a small shower unit and instructed to remove clothes and put on the robe and slippers offered and then to place our belongings in a locker. We were taken to the room of which had an open view window to the street (not a tinted window) and the other window which was inbetween the reception area and the room was tinted but still able to see through. They didnt even bother to close the curtains. The ladies massaging were ok. I dont have feedback there. But i dont believe they massage correctly. It was more painful then pleasurable. Once they were done we were left in the room, without a word. So we stood up and naturally went to go and get dressed. We were not offered towels so that we could shower and wash the oils off, there was no soap or shampoo in the showers to even use to wash with. Once we had gotten dressed we were handed a bottle of ointment at R395 for a 80ml ointment for relief of pain due to the massage. And that was it. There was absolutely no attention to detail or the attempt to enquire how we enjoyed the massage. Will never go back and will def not advise others to go there.
