A special mention needs to go to the team at the LAO restaurant booked and organised by Borzo for us - they made us feel so special from the moment we walked into the restaurant welcoming us by name before we even said who we were. They gave us a gorgeous, hand-written welcome back card, from when visited back in January 2020, which was very touching. On both our dinners in LAO on this holiday, everyone was so friendly and attentive - Ruby when she welcomed & looked after us, Paul, Glen, Raj and James the fantastic chef who gave us brilliant recommendations and superb surprise “signature’ desserts - such a wonderful chef & restaurant with such a warm atmosphere - we just loved it and the food so much!More
My wife and I ate here twice out of our 5 night stay at The Waldorf. They made us feel like we old friends returning home for dinner and laughs. You hear from friends and see in the movies when a restaurant has that way of making you feel warm, welcome, valued, rightful, and above else, extremely well looked after. The food is so good, but I don’t want to spend more time talking about that because the way that the staff look after you is what really makes this place special. Raj and Vienna, plus their team are so attentive. We loved how welcomed they made us feel, even with squeezing us in on our second time here. We will tell all our friends to visit this place if coming to Dubai. We loved it! Thank you. Oh, and the Kafier lime leaves tea was an super relaxing treat. AmazingMore
Fantastic food and exceptional staff. We ate here 4 times in 7 days because it was so good. Paul took excellent care of us and Chef James reworked dishes as we are pescatarian Nothing was too much trouble and I can’t recommend it highly enoughMore
Paul was the most amazing waiter I have encountered in Dubai and I have been here for 11 years. Paul loves his job and it shows. The attention to detail, the knowledge of the food is serving, the interaction, all was on point. The entire staff was exquisite. You can tell that the entire staff got a proper training and that they take pride in what they do. The food was so delicious, the cocktails and wine was super tasty! I will recommend this restaurant to literally everyone. Well done all of you!More
