Love Is

It was such a joy and an amazing evening filled with laughs and top shelf entertainment at Love is.......Burgers. The stand-up comedy show was organized by Laughter on Lockdown and they didn't disappoint, comedians were ace the room was laughing the whole time. Had some nibbles in the form of jalapeno poppers which took my breath away they also were running a special as a pizza or burger with a beverage for only R99 which is value for money. So if any one fancies a dinner with a show do check their social media feeds for shows happening, I do believe it's every second Thursday but can also phone to confirm. Easy to find on and see on the main road. I'm not one for Milkshakes, but their milkshakes are amazing and the the place has a very cool and cute viby set up. Love the colour set up on the inside. Also, services was quick and the food was warm just the way I like it

I ordered online so have no idea what the venue is like but it was quite possibly the worst burger I have ever had. Does not live up to its name at all. The roll was soggy and the patty somehow overcooked and undercooked at the same time. Very tough. Underwhelming sauce and toppings. Three thiny slithers of pickle dont really count in my books. As someone who loves burgers I definitely do not recommend.

The food was alright. Unfortunately, whether or not it was good, was overshadowed by the poor service. We were one of two tables and still the service was so shocking. They didn't have my original drink of choice, hot chocolate in winter, which seemed ridiculous. We had to call the waiter over for our bill, he was just sitting at another table on his phone, 90% of the time we were there. The only reason this is a 2 star review and not 1, I because it is a nice atmosphere, if all else could be improved on.
