Media One Hotel

I recently stayed at Media One Hotel in Dubai Marina and have mixed feelings about my experience. The hotel's central location and proximity to the metro station were convenient for exploring Dubai. The staff was generally courteous and accommodating. However, I was surprised to find that my room had a transparent bathroom with no privacy screen. This lack of privacy was not conducive to those who prefer personal space. It would have been better if the hotel provided a more private bathroom setup. Additionally, when I brought up this issue, the staff seemed more focused on upselling rather than addressing the problem or offering an alternative solution. This approach was disappointing, as I expected them to prioritize guest satisfaction and promptly resolve any concerns. In summary, Media One Hotel in Dubai Marina has its advantages, such as its central location and polite staff. However, the transparent bathroom design and the unhelpful response to complaints regarding privacy were significant drawbacks. If privacy is important to you, it may be worth considering alternative accommodations in Dubai Marina.

My husband and I had the pleasure of staying at Media One Hotel in Dubai for our anniversary, and I cannot express enough how Christie, from Guest Relations Team, went above and beyond to make our celebration unforgettable. From the moment we checked in, Christie's warm and welcoming demeanor set the tone for our entire stay. She made us feel like VIPs, and her attention to detail was truly remarkable. Christie had prepared special gifts and surprises for our anniversary, which added an extra layer of joy to our visit. The surprises she arranged were not just ordinary; they were thoughtful and tailored to our preferences. Her dedication to making our experience memorable was evident in every gesture. Stayed for 4 nights last week. The rooms are tired and in need of a refurbishment, while non-smoking now at some point they were not, and they smell accordingly. Couldn’t properly see out the window due to dirt or an issue with the double glazing. The main mirror in the room had a similar issue – needs to be replaced. Limited device charging options –no USB ports and limited power sockets. The website claims the minibar is ‘customizable’ – it’s not, they have room service only. Each time I ordered a drink from room service I was asked how I was going to pay for it!?!? At check-out obviously, so they have an issue here with their systems. I bought some drinks from the shop to keep in the fridge which also needs replacing – managed to get them sort of cold. The staff were professional, friendly and helpful.

Super nice experience in this hotel even if I have spent only one night. I went to both pool and gym and I was happy with them. The hotel offers a lot of amenities, valet parking, gym ,pool and so on. The breakfast was fantastic millions of options and absolutely delicious! Thq aulity of the pastries was superb. The staff was also amazing,the girl at the reception was super kind.

Great 2 weeks stay here. Rooms were clean and well furnished. Staff were great. Happy to help at any time. Enjoyed the breakfast every morning. Staff member Tika was always there to take my order and ask about my day. Fully recommend this hotel.
