Had randomly walked into a restaurant in Dubai Mall and was pleasantly surprised. The friendly faces of the staff, and the quick service was something that needed to be appreciated. As usual we ordered more than we could eat but the food and the flavours were spot on. It had a very street style and yet complex flavour .The highlights were the BBQ ribs wherein the meat was unimaginably tender and the crispy salad was so fresh tasting. Couldn't even complain about the house iced tea. Overall very impressed. Special thanks to Kenneth for attending us and making it a great experience.

5 stars because our host Rose was a gift like a rose to us. She was superb with my little three year old and helped him put something in his mouth as he was not eating all day. Thank you for your delicate touch. You are awesome!!!

I was really craving Hot and Sour soup and this place did not disappoint. The soup was delicious, and for the main I had the Rainbow Beef (in the U.K. we call it crispy shredded). The main was huge and I was able to take the remaining half of the dish home and have it as a second meal. I really liked the atmosphere of the restaurant, which is situated on the lower ground of the Dubai Mall. Pricing was fair. I have not had a lot of meals in Dubai and whilst the meal was more than I would pay in London, I would not say greatly so. Staff were friendly and attentive.

Wow! So happy to finally come here, wish I’d tried sooner. Menu has everything I love, chicken sweet corn soup, dumplings, spring rolls, fried chicken wontons, black bean shrimps, special fried rice. Loved it! So happy we came. Fast friendly service, lots of spacious seats to choose and nice ambiance.

From the moment we set foot into New Shanghai Restaurant, our experience was nothing short of fantastic. A second visit for us, They made us feel right at home with their warm greetings and impeccable service. Now, let’s talk about the food! The Lava Rock Shrimps and Salt and Pepper Calamari were our starters, and they were simply out of this world - absolute "bombdigs"! A special mention must go to their chicken wontons; trust me, you wouldn’t want to miss out on them. Every dish we ordered was a journey of flavors, and we cleaned every plate. From the starters to the mains, and concluding with their divine desserts, the culinary delights were truly memorable. Thank you, New Shanghai Restaurant, for a phenomenal dining experience. We left with our palates satisfied and hearts full. Looking forward to our next visit! 👍🥢🍜🍰
