It was my first time going to the observatory for my mother's birthday, we were so exciting visiting a well known place like this one. The food and atmosphere were great but to my great disappointment, the service was horrible: First the orders took too long to arrive at the table (we're talking simple drinks and munches, not full course meals) Second when the plates were empty they stayed on the table, no one came to clear it. Third the cake they said they would provide (fully knowing it was a table of 9-10 people) was so small that barely anyone got to eat a single spoon of the cake. And finally when said cake arrived there was no place to put it since the table wasn't cleared from the leftover plates. This was definitely not the birthday i had envisioned for my mom, and we were embarrassed towards our guests.More
It was a disappointing experience. We were a group of 10 friends, celebrating my birthday. Good quality and taste of the food was nice . But the service is extremely slow. Between one order and the other, it takes forever. And the worst was the cake. It was tiny. Literally each one of us had a spoon of the cake. It was shocking.More
there are few better places for pork sliders (real pork mind you from real pigs), and astonishing views. Was there a while back with friends and we spent a good few hours catching up....and a good few dirhams on food and booze.......4000 AED as I recall. last night I was back but sadly so was the oppresive music that drowned out any chance of conversation.....like all Dubai venues. We had a beer , paid 90 dirhams and left. Do the Maths Marriott....and any other venue reading my sad lament.More
I want to start by thanking the waitress Jonaline whos positive vibe followed her everywhere. Shes a true asset to the restaurant ! The food was great the vibe was great and the view was outstanding! Lovely nightMore
