The food was alright, not the best I would say in comparison to other places we went charging cheaper. We asked food to be non-spicy but it came spicy. Juice was fresh and came in big cups! Only thing which we felt was worth it. Service was also very friendly but we got a shocker when our bill came!
Firstly the person who served us mistook our order and got us 3 starter soups. We were excited to see 3 small bowls and felt he divided the soup bowl for us. We are used to being served 1 big bowl of soup and him giving 3 was thought of as being kind.
Those 3 bowls however popped up on our bill! When we questioned that when we had made individual orders, he just removed 1 bowl. Didn't cause much fuss and paid. And yes, that soup...not fresh but did not taste or smell aged. Regardless, was microwave heated. Could see the usual microwave stains of oil residue you can easily see inside the bowl and tell it was microwaved.
Why I am giving just a 1 star because what is most disappointing is we were also charged a 10% service charge on top of our meals! I just found out now when calculating our expenses. This the first time to experience that additional charge besides GST in Singapore. Even GST is already added, what you see is what you pay...but unfortunately, not here!
If you want to save costs, I'll recommend going elsewhere. A family member wanted to have a North Indian experience and quite some experience it was.
Due to open setting, there were also some men who were just staring at my mother and when us men looked, they immediately turned their heads away! What nuisance!
Will I plan to go here again? Nah, I'd even avoid crossing this place.
