2pax lunch @ shamiana on 18.9.2023 ordered- palak paneer aloo gobi bhindi masala one garlic naan..I had 1/2 friend had 1/4 all vegetarian bhindi (okra) was best dish excellent palak paneer very good too aloo gobi the usual this vegetarian lunch better than my non vegetarian lunch with obaydul yesterday at tani bistro naan was more tasty..bhindi & paneer dishes also more tasty..aloo gobi about same

Some hits and misses I guess. Masala tea was a bit relatively lighter and the naans were lacklustre, and too burnt for my liking. The paneer and curry were pretty good though. Flavourful without being salty.

Generally never a bad experience at this restaurant with the food, service and ambience the numerous times we visited. Gem of a low profile place that consistently delivers. Visited several times before their name was changed. Their naan, meat in curries and main dishes were terrific. Succulent meats in rich spices paired with fresh naan is a pleasure to savour. Their dhal was the best which I can drink as soup and have it without fail. A must order. Their pricing is fair due to their area of location near bungalows in a quaint shophouse. 2 persons at dinner averages SGD100 plus. Thank you for the fantastic meals. We will be back.

Went on a Monday night. Only 3 customers dining in but decided to give a try. No regrets! Ordered butter chicken, fish tikka, Rogan Josh (mutton curry)n aloo gobi (cauliflower). Very tasty and fresh ingredients used. Ordered rice n naan to pair up the gravy. Price tend to be on higher side.

We frequently ordered butter chicken from Shamiana Restaurant. Sometimes, we would have biryani rice too. Both taste simply delicious! The fish tikka is another dish worth the try. It’s tender and well-spiced. That’s why we kept going back again and again!
