Absolutely Delicious. After extensive search when finding a Punjabi restaurant I came across this on the Internet. My partner wanted to try Punjabi food as opposed to Indian food on a Friday night there were two of us and upon arrival it wasn’t busy however it got busy I would say after 7 pm. The starters were so delicious, hot and fresh. We got the shami kebab and chicken makhani. Mouthwatering. Main was the Chicken Karai with naan breads neatly cut out into 4 pieces. We also got a regular salad. Desert- must try Kulfi, my partner loved it, not too sweet it was just right. Ended with a glass of mint tea. The Ambiance was just right such a hidden gem. The staff were all friendly and did not even feel pressured in anything. We will be returning work permitting this friday. The bill for us both was around£95. This place also seemed busy on uber eats as many drivers were coming and going. This place is a hidden gem definitely worth it. 5* from me. Read more
This is my second visit to Shezan, and as per their main server's recommendation, we ordered Nihari (plus chicken biryani, chicken karahi and shami kebab). The Nihari is excellent, and is totally worth the trip. Biryani and Karahi were very good too. Shami kebab was Lahori-style and tasted great too. The desserts we ordered were Rasmalai (VERY small portion for the price) and halwa (the most disappointing thing on the entire menu... Felt like boiled, grated carrots rather than what gajar ka halwa is supposed to taste like). Overall the food is great, the prices mostly make sense (desserts are over the top expensive for what they are), the ambience does the job. But once again, I have to call out their service. Omar, the same server I met in June, is excellent. He's got the perfect attitude, and he's literally spinning multiple plates at any given time. He is one of the reasons I returned to the restaurant and will return again. But when he goes on a break or finishes his shift the service plummets in unbelievable ways. Both times I've been there, the minute Omar leaves the floor, mistakes start happening and getting attention becomes impossible. They really need to improve this situation by hiring and training more people like Omar. Overall, still the best "traditional" Pakistani restaurant in London, minus a few quibbles.Read more
A great experience. The food was excellent and there was so much of it that we took "doggy bags" and had enough left over to feed us again at home that evening! Everyone was great ad we would certainly come backRead more
