Beautiful city view, ample sitting, cozy ambiance, warm hospitality and good service were the highlights of this eatery. Signature by SK is located on the first floor of the Nation Towers in Abu Dhabi. It is owned by the famous Indian chef Sanjeev kapoor. The sitting area of the restaurant are full of choice. They have sitting in the hall, separate family cabins, outside sitting, inside sitting with Marina View. They serve basically all Indian special cuisine. They have quite an extended menu and also they have set menu with different price options. One can also buy groupon deals to avail their set menu. Tawa fish, chicken kebab, chicken malayi boti as starters in non-veg menu and similarly 3 choices were there in non-veg menu including some special beetroot and potato containing items. Then we had daal makhni, butter paneer, mixed veggies in veg menu as main course and butter chicken, lamb korma, chicken dum Biryani and daal in non-veg menu as main course. We loved their biryani and daal makhni with zeera rice. Also to mention their butter chicken was very different as compared to other Indian restaurants where you can find butter chicken slightly sweet in taste but it wasn’t the case with them. In desserts we had hot gulab jamuns and rice pudding (firni style) and among them gulab jamuns were really good. In drinks we ordered classic mojito and strawberry mojitos. Unfortunately we were not really convinced with their mojitos as we found them more tangy and sour in taste. There was some extra lemon in the drinks which probably didn’t go well with us. But might be possible that customers would have liked their drinks. Staff was courteous and nice. Service was almost quick and accurate. It was a good experience dining with them. It’s a 3.5⭐️ from me. More
The food here was delicious! The service was also very good as they took time to explain what was vegan on the menu that I could eat. Being allergic to certain foods I can be a tricky customer but they were very friendly and knew their menu very well. It always nice when the waiter can explain a menu with detail and offer advice and opinions. The portions were very good sizes. The saag was amazing and delicate in its taste. The rice was perfectly cooked and not too dry or too wet. All the food choices work well and complimented in flavors. I would say the only thing that lets it down is the atmosphere. Some nice music in the background would have added a nice dimension to the experience. But overall food couldn’t be faulted. More
If you have to take out visitors for Indian food, Signature by highly acclaimed Sanjeev Kapoor would be one of the best choices available in Abu Dhabi. Located in Nation Towers , this restaurant has an elegant ambience without being garish. The service is attentive and the presentation of the food is also impressive. Our out of town guests were vegetarian and hence we tried mostly vegetarian food with just one non-veg dish. The menu has good variety and selection in both categories. The Aksharmala Veg platter of starters has all the items available on menu - so if you want a taste of everything this is a good option to share. They have the same option for non-veg starters as well. In addition to the Veg starter we also had an additional order of Rumani paneer kararey - not too impressive. Among the starters we liked the Tigadey Kattey Aloo the most. For. the mains we had Flaming Granite Bharwan Subz - not too bad but not too great either- and Gharha Raan Paratdaar - this highly priced dish at 190 dhs was no where as good as the Raan we had had at another Sanjeev Kapoor restaurant Khana Khazana in Dubai. The smoked lassi did not taste too different except for the novelty of presentation and delivery. The Jamun cheese cake was quite good. The breads in the bread basket was quite tasty and good quality. The portion sizes are quite good and suits sharing for 4- we could not finish the gravy of Raan and even the veg main also got left over a bit. You are provided papad and pickles while your order gets done - the chutneys were quite good. We suggest the papads should be kept back - at least the diners should be asked whether they want to keep it back or removed. If you keep your expectations a bit low, you are sure to be impressed with the quality of the food - but being a Sanjeev Kapoor restaurant it would be difficult to keep your expectations low. For a fine dining restaurant the dishes are priced Ok although some of the dishes are close to 200dhs. If you have Entertainer coupons the overall expense would be reasonable.More
One of the best Indian food in town Very delicious & different dishes than the usual , great taste & ambiance More
Located in the shopping mall at the St Regis and a little gem. Food is lovely and very reasonably priced. Staff are friendly and if you get a table on the terrace you get a good view. More
