Food was great and tasty. We ordered extra hot but it didn't contain much heat. The service was lackluster. It was awkward walking inside and not being greeted. Service was kept to a bare minimum. The atmosphere isn't what you'd expect at an Indian restaurant and feels more like a pub and grub. There are some upgrades to he made here, such as new menus as the old ones have had a black marker taken to them to cross out items as well as entire sections.

Best Indian in town hands down ! ...be sure to go on the weekend for their street food specials. Not like other westernized local Indian places , this is an Indian family cooking the flavors they grew up with in Mumbai!

We had a chance to visit Sigree during our Cape Town visit which interestingly turned out to be our daily dinner place😊. An authentic Indian restaurant with cuisines covering various regions. Special mention of Poonam, Rahul and Raj for pampering us with mouthwatering dishes. Must try Allepey fish curry, garlic butter prawns, tandoori chicken, biriyani, bread options. Veg dishes were also amazing. Chole Bhature and paneer dishes are worth trying in veg. Also, special thanks to chef who prepared special dishes for kids. Little one definitely wants to visit Cape Town again for having their fish tikka. It’s definitely a must visit to try authentic Indian dishes.

This was our 2nd visit. The first visit was in 2022, where we enjoyed the food. However, this time, we were a bit disappointed with the quality of the meal. I had ordered the Paneer Tikka Masala main dish (always my favourite). The meal tasted like Paneer Makhani, which is more creamy and slightly sweetish kind of taste - which I do not prefer. I did bring it to the attention of the waitress, and just received a 'Oh sorry about that' response. I asked her to take feedback to the chef. So, yes, unfortunately I was not happy with my meal. That's just my personal experience.
