I went there for a business trip and a way to relax. My initial impression was that it was a 3-star kids resort, which I find to be overpriced. It was very noisy, many families and loud music. I didn’t not feel I was at a luxury hotel. Check in there is about 6 people waiting to be held in, felt chaotic, no welcome drinks or courtesy. The overall decor felt outdated and overused. The staff are very kind and the services are outstanding. My second observation was the the entrance to the hotel was located at a very busy round-about and going in and out was a hassle, traffic there is a nightmare. Overall, this hotel is perfect for families and the pool, otherwise choose a difference hotel.

Excellent 5 star RC resort, nice location on the beach, but a little far from the airport and other attractions more "central" in Dubai. Service was excellent, friendly staff at all the restaurants, and the breakfast buffet was great, even if not much variety from day-to-day. Pools were lovely in summer to escape the heat - I think the pools are cooled?

One of the worst customer service I have ever experienced in a so call luxury hotel. First, I had to call over three times for someone to fix the coffee machines; then fives times to fix electrical outlets, among many inconveniences. I had other issues with staff about not being prompt in addressing my issues, even the director on duty and other senior managers. Really very disappointed with this over rated hotel. I even filed a written complaint that was unanswered for over 2 weeks, despite there follow ups from my end. JBR has many other better hotels, with genuine and effective customer service.

Overall, my stay at Ritz Carlton, Dubai exceeded my expectations, and I was extremely satisfied with the service provided to me. It's the staff's attention to detail, professionalism, and courteousness that sets your hotel apart from others. Went there for a day at the pool with the kids. Their service was exceptional and the food was amazing. Pools were clean and they had adult pools and ones for the kids. Would highly recommend if you are looking for a private place with access to the beach
