Taon Korean Restaurant

We have had "beef BBQ" and chose self cooking on table, while chatting with friends we enjoy cooking as well. And for starter had "spicy chicken and peanut chicken", it was best part of our dinner 🍽. Highly recommended for family, work-mate gatherings, etc. Have noticed that restaurant have private dining rooms for celebrations. All in all, everything- from service to food was flawless!

One of the best Korean restaurants in abu dhabi. The service is really great, the staff was really nice and helpful. First, they served you banchanc it’s kinda lika small dish for appetiser, The kimchi is delicious! One of my fav, it’s not too fermented and not spicy. The fish cake is also delicious with some veggies on it. The asparagus is the highlight! It’s soo good, i was a bit skeptical about the taste. Turned out it was super delish! The sauce is soooo goood. They also serve you spring salad, the dressing is not my taste, but it’s still enjoyable when i add kimchi on it. For the main course, I order bibimbap and jjamppong. The bibimbap is very very very very recommended, it was the best bibimbap in abu dhabi. The veggies is perfect, the rice is perfectly cooked! They serve it in hotstone pot, which was super crispy at the bottom. The jjampông is spicy and so delish! The seafood is fresh, the spice is just my preference, the noodle is chewy and al dente! And last, they serve a small watermelon and plum juice(if I’m not mistaken) Overall, it was a pleasant lunch there! For sure I’ll comeback for their hot pot or the bbq.

Sad to see a good restaurant deteriorate. To be frank quite disappointed at the portions which continue be reduced each visit to the point now it feels very overpriced and the menu seems hardly accurate, even adjusting for better ambience vs. the average Abu Dhabi Korean restaurant. Been eating here for the past ~2 years. The quality and taste has been consistent and good, arguably top in Abu Dhabi. Will only come back if improved.

I had the pleasure of dining at TAON, the first Korean fine dining restaurant in Abu Dhabi, and I was very impressed. The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was impeccable. I especially want to give a shout-out to Amrita, She was incredibly attentive and accommodating, and she made sure that I had a wonderful dining experience. I started my meal with the complimentary soup, which was a delicious and refreshing way to start. Both dishes were cooked perfectly and were full of flavor. I also tried the sushi, which was some of the best I've ever had. Overall, I had a wonderful experience at TAON. The food was amazing, the service was top-notch, and the atmosphere was elegant and sophisticated. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a special dining experience.
