With an empty tummy and high hopes, we came across Bhukkad cafe in Festival Plaza.
Upon entering, the atmosphere is very inviting, loved the vibe and the decor. But on the flipside, the food was equally disappointing.
We ordered the Schezwan Vada Pav, the vada by itself wasn’t the best, and the fried noodles are completely unnecessary; they weren’t crispy, and just lacked the punch.
The second dish was the Seekh Kabab Omelette, a thin slice of toast bread coated with a thin layer of omelette (do I add, unseasoned) and topped with 3 tiny pieces of “seekh kabab” which was just chicken cutlets that is extremely dry and powdery. Luckily we had the leftover chutney from the vada pav to flavour it slightly.
The only good thing was the 2 cups of cutting chai.
Too pricy for a below average food experience. Sadly, never again.
